Well I weighed in this morning and didn't loose anything. In the past I would have been totally discouraged but I'm older and wiser and I know this too will pass. I stick to the plan 100% but I don't do any exercise. I guess it's back on the old treadmill (tomorrow).

Hey ladies. So last Friday I saw the a beautiful number on the scale, 234.6. Just .4 away from what I weighed before I went off plan. But then the weekend happened. We had a potluck lunch for a co-worker's last day on Friday. I brought fruit, figured I'd eat that and whatever main was provided. But no one brought a main course! About 5 people brought chips and dip, one brought bread and dip, 2 brought dessert, and I was starving! So that didn't go well. Then my mom came in town and we ate out every meal, and I didn't really even try to pick the best options.
So as of this morning I'm at 237, which is still 4 down from when I joined this thread. Today I got right back on track. Woke up early to do c25k before work, made a good breakfast and packed a lunch. Not sure what I'm doing for dinner yet, but I'm not sabotaging my day! |
@Ashley: Good job on not letting your circumstances for a few days ruin your attitude or your week! I find it really hard when I'm with other people. Especially this weekend with my friend and her son because he kept saying things, "Melody do you want some of my curly fries?" and "Do you want to try a bite of my ice cream?"
"YES I WANT YOUR CURLY FRIES AND YOUR ICE CREAM NOW STOP ASKING ME BEFORE I EAT IT ALL!!!!!" of course I didn't yell at him, he was just being nice, but that's what I'm shouting in my head!!!! |
I just saw this thread and would love to join in. I got down to 199 last year and fell off the wagon and it rolled over me and I binged my way back up to 234.6, the most I'd ever weighed. I re-committed and went back to WW on 7/13 and have since lost 10 pounds.
I've been working out 5-6 times a week and have been OP every day since starting back. I just need to stay focused and not fall of the wagon again. |

Gettinfit, glad you could join us. We look forward to your posts. Melbellrocks, good job on avoiding temptation! Have a great day. |
I'm really really nervous about weigh in tonight. I know if I gain it won't be a huge gain, but I'm scared because I don't want a gain at all. Although it would serve me right because I did eat stuff I shouldn't have this week...I tracked it all and didn't use all my weekly points, but still...I know better...
EDIT: Well, weigh in has come and gone...and I'm down another 2 pounds!!!! YAY! I can't believe it I was so nervous that I was going to gain! *phew* |
melbellrocks- That's great! my weigh in is tmw morning and i am nervous because i've gone over my points today including my weekly, i have to stay home from work tmw because of my daughters bad behavior at summer camp she has to stay home and i haven't found another way to handle stress eating yet lol ugh
|
haleygirl: Good luck today at weigh in! And good luck staying home all day with your daughter. Hopefully you guys can find something productive to do so you don't let that stress get the better of you!
|
well it was up 2.5 lbs and i really don't think i gained that much fat this week because i was for the most part on track so i'm going to take it with a grain of salt and try to focus more this week...
|
I just restarted yesterday and it is very hard for me! I did dip into my weekly allowance points but I find that better than binging all day. today is going great! I usually mess up around dinner. Although I started mid week, Im making sunday my weigh in day! Good luck guys! cant wait to see how you are all doing.

@haleygirl: I am envious of your positive attitude! It's unfortunate that the scale didn't show a loss but like you said you are on track and doing well so no worries!
@sasinez: Welcome and good luck with your re-commitment! |
Hello ladies! I just finished reading all four pages of posts, so now it's MY turn :)
This is day 5 on my very first Weight Watchers journey (I started Monday). So far, I have found it fairly easy to stay within my 26 daily points. And even if my weigh in on Monday doesn't show anything lost, I just feel better. I don't feel as bloated all the time and I am happy and excited to be working towards this goal. As I have said in other threads, my biggest issue is dinner time. Not because of going over points, but I measure everything out to exactly one serving of each item and then eat all of it. I end up over stuffing myself. Last night, though, I made a point to only measure out half servings, and put it on a small plate (so my brain would think I had a full plate of food), and when I knew I was full, I quit eating. I am one of those people who feel full after 3 or 4 bites of something, but will get extremely hungry again after only an hour or so... I am so far loving this forum and it's so nice to be surrounded by so many others on the same journey as me. You are all my inspirations and I know we will all get what we are working so very hard for :) |
