I would love to get in on this. I'm starting WW over again this week after having a horrible health issue over the weekend that gave me a wake up call. I'm 22, I work as a nurse aide on 3rds. I've lost 80 pounds before on Weight Watchers and love it. From where I work 3rds, I don't get to go to the meetings much unless I purposely plan for it. Maybe I will at least plan for one meeting a month at the least.

Hi All,

I was going to wait until we had emails going, but I am wondering. How do you guys fit in your milk for the day? Does it have to be milk or can it be any dairy product? I am a little concerned that 2 cups of fat free milk is 4 Points!! I get 26 per day, so I can fit it in now, but what about when my Points allowance gets smaller? Just wondering how you guys are handling the milk situation. Do you just use the 4 Points and consider it good, or has something else worked? Your input is appreciated!

Thanks so much,

Hi Losin - I'm not a big milk drinker... in fact I don't drink it at all - so I just make sure I eat yogurt instead - as well as cottage cheese sometimes... plus I'd rather eat my points instead of drink them!!

Losinit - I'm terrible when it comes to drinking milk. With only 20 points I just can't spare the 4 points for what I'm supposed to get per day (same goes for the oils, but I'm trying with them!). I put a bit in my coffee and a little in my tea and will occasionally have a glass of milk but that's pretty rare.

It's any diary product. I actually like the fiber cottage cheese which is one point and of course anything laughing cow/babel light cheeses. All three are 1 point.

Thanks all! I don't feel so bad now about not drinking my milk! I completely agree, I want to eat Points, not drink them I will check out the cottage cheese and have been eating yogurts and Laughing Cow cheese (love the garlic & herb). Glad to hear that any dairy counts!

Have my WI today, this evening actually! Surprisingly, I am not even worried about the number. My NSVs this week outweigh any # the scale gives. I have a lot more energy, am actually working out, and the most exciting for me, I am not winded when getting my son ready for bed and reading him his stories

Sounds crazy I know, but even that small task was not something I looked forward to. I always sounded funny when reading as I was slightly out of breath. Not anymore!

Still retaining a ton of water. Reviewed my journal, and don't see anything glaring that has salt or would affect me so much. If I am not doing better by Monday I will call my doctor. My poor fingers are getting sore as they are still swollen.

Good luck to everyone today!

Good Morning! Just weighed in. I'm only down 1.5lb. That's for a week and 5 days. I guess my slip-up last weekend affected me more than I thought. Oh well, at least it's going in the right direction. Question: can someone tell me how to get the ticker in my signature? I found how to get the code for the ticker, but can't find where to put it. Thanks! Everybody have a great day!

I lost 6 pounds this week (first week). This week, I'll slowly add in exercise.
