Default New here..and Monthly Pass??

Hi everyone!!

My name is marissa. i am a 26y.o. wife, mother of two (irish twins ages 1&2!!) and CNA. i havent been to WW for a few years but now that we are settled into our house and i am not having any more kids, i am going back!! i CAN NOT wait!!!!!!!

i am having a semi-difficult time with the times/days of meetings in my area. i dont have a lot of help with my kids as far as baby sitting is concerned. my aunt(who is like my mom) watches them twice weekly until DH gets home. anyways..sorry i got so OT. i was thinking about signing up for the monthly pass for a few reasons. one being that i have a set, rotating schedule at work, i might have to go a day earlier to weigh in some weeks and a day late some weeks. or try to go on saturdays. also, the online tools seem like they would be a huge plus.

do many ppl use the pass?? what are the pros and cons?? thanks to everyone in advance for your time. i am so excited to start back up!! i have been OP (relying on internet points calcs, etc) since thurs, trying to get back into it. i, like many here, have been on and off WW many times. i know it works and, well, its just time. i cant wait to weigh myself thurs at work!! but i need to go for the accountability and if im paying for it, heck, that helps..wouldnt want to waste the money lol.

I've only ever used the monthly pass. I like that everything is just automatic. I get billed automatically, it makes checking in so easy, I have access to the online tools (I don't use them that much, I like the weight tracker, but I do everything else the old fashioned way. Maybe I'll use the online tools more whenever I get a much better phone!).

I guess some people wouldn't like the automatic payment option, but I did cancel once in the past and it was easy to drop the payment (although I could not get a refund on the remaining few weeks I had paid for).

I haven't been doing WW very long, but the Monthly Pass is the best deal. As it was explained to me, you can attend any or all of the weekly meetings (who has time for all???), get access to the e-tools, and it saves money in the end! Signing up for the pass saves me about $10 a month, a little less than the cost of one meeting.

You are enrolled in auto bill pay; which I like, it's one less thing I have to worry about. You can cancel at any time. They mail you a new card each month, it is dated effective for 30 days.

I prefer to use the monthly journal and not the e-tools to track as I like everything on paper! They do have a great tool to calculate the Points on meals and recipes you already make, and I have used it a bunch!

Overall, I think the Monthly Pass is the better deal. You have all the tools available to you and it saves you money! Plus, I am more likely to go if I have paid in advance rather than paying when I get there.

Good luck!

Thanks!! i def feel as though i would benefit from the online tools. maybe not the points tracking so much as the points values of things, like LosingIt had mentioned. i still have a few days to decide but the more i think about it, might just be best.
