Default 30 pounds gone ~ Tell my pants please...

WHAT THE HECK??? I have been doing WW since May 15th and I have lost 31 pounds. I had a pair of jeans in the closet. I wore them at 265 pounds. Yes, they were tight, but I could hop into them and get them zipped.

Now, I have lost that weight. I am down to 234. I saw those jeans and tried them on expecting them to be MUCH looser, and to my HORROR, they were still pretty tight. I could not believe it.

Where the heck did I lose 31 pounds at?????

Madder than a hornet,
Tiffany

Maybe the jeans shrank in the wash?? Just trying to make you laugh. That does seem strange.

We all lose weight in different areas first. My weight loss showed up immediately in my face. Then my bustline, arms and calves. Last of all was the big butt and hips!

Hang in there.

Usually you lose in the last place you put it on first. It usually is in the face, neck, chest, calfs, thights, then butt and tummy.

Tiffany-

I always heard that you go down a size for every 10 lbs you lose....well....I can tell you that it isnt true when you weigh what I did! I lost about 30 lbs before I went down a size. I think the smaller you get, the less you have to lose to drop a size. In the beginning, it is slooooooow!

I have gone from a 24/26 to a 20 in 50 lbs.

Default Sizes

Another thing Tiffany ~~

When did you actually buy those jeans? When I lost my weight the first time (75 lbs - 14 yrs ago) I got down to a size 8/9.

Yes, I'm one of those who gained it all back and is now on track to losing for the umpteenth time. About 4 years ago, I lost 56 lbs and was wearing a size 14 jeans (purchased 4 years ago). I thought I could try on some of my "old" size 14 jeans and couldn't get them past my thighs!!!!!!!!

The way clothes are made today is much different from years past.

Hang in there and just go by how you are feeling and doing. The size in the clothes is just a number!!
