Hi Daisy,
I have heard great things about the WW at Work program and we have a whole thread for WW at home - great gals, we'd love to see you there.
I had to quit WW because it just wasn't working for me. Turns out I have thyroid issues. Anyway, the meetings to me seemed like sales pitches for the latest cookbooks or cheapy plastic gadgets and same old same old stuff. All this with a great leader. It wasn't enough, though, to get over those awful weigh in witches who asked "are you drinking your water" when I was drinking over a gallon a day - I wanted to douse them!!! I should have peed on the scale.
ALso, there's more than one way to lose weight. I recently saw on 60 minutes that the traditional food pyramid was made by a bunch of lawyers, not doctors, and is NOT the best way to lose weight; they said Dr. Atkins is more on track. I don't do Dr. Atkins, I am on Deepak Chopra's plan right now, but I thought it was interesting.
