Starting again Thursday

  • Hi all! I've decided to start WW again this coming Thursday. That's when the next meeting is that I can attend. I'm looking forward to it because I know it works. And I have way too much weight to lose to just not do anything. So, that's my plan. As of right now, our church is doing a 21 day Daniel Fast (only fruits, veggies, nuts, beans & water) & I'll be doing that until the 21st of this month.

I looked on the WW website & saw the Momentum plan. What is that? I'm looking around on here trying to find out more info. I know I'll find out at the meeting Thursday but curiousity has the best of me!
  • The Momentum plan is the system of tracking points. WW has a system of counting calories, fat, and fiber in foods, so that they have a point value. You get a certain number of points per day to eat based on your height, age, weight, and activity level. You'd get something in the low 40s, probably, based on what you have posted in your profile. Then you also get 35 per week that you can use or not use.
  • Oh okay... So Momentum is like the old Flex plan? Is Core still Core or is it called something else?
  • I believe Momentum used to be Flex (with a few minor changes), and Core is now called Simply Filling, but I don't do that one so I don't pay attention to it. I use WW Online, and haven't been to a meeting since the Flex days.

I also do WW online. I really like it so far
  • I took a two week break from Weight Watchers over the holidays (last weighed in on 12/21). I finally returned last night and when I stepped on the scale I had lost 2.2 lbs.! I couldn't even believe it! I haven't been tracking or anything.
