I think the point is that I've had weeks where I've lost weight, weeks where I haven't lost weight, weeks when I've gained weight (some kind of on purpose, some not). In the long run it's just important that you find a better way to live, which I think (hope) will make maintaining the loss easier.

My brain is the enemy at times. I've never been an emotional eater. I eat because I'm hungry. I've decided that I've simply got screwed up hunger signals, so I'm working on minimizing them (eating more often) and then just ignoring them. Some days it seems like I'm winning, but not always. It's just important to keep trying. In the grand scheme of things a couple of days off plan isn't a big deal... just decide that today you'll be back on plan. That's not so hard - one day of good eating. The tomorrow you just repeat it. Good luck.
