Default Wii Fit!!! :)

Hello Ladies,

I invested in a Wii fit last week and absolutely LOVE it so far! I was just wondering how many other ladies use the Wii fit/balance board and what results they've seen so far? Also, what exercises do you typically do and which do you recommend to get a really good cardio workout????

So far my regular daily routine with the Wii looks a little like this

30 minutes free step aerobics
10 minutes super hoola hoop
10 minutes free run (interchanging between jogging and walking)
10 minutes of either yoga or strength training
10 - 20 minutes of plain messing around with the other games! They can be sooo much fun and sooo addictive!!

Thanks for the input!

I always feel the most sore after boxing and the second level step (done 2 times) which is strange b/c they do not leave me out of breath, they just work the muscles.

I love my Wii Fit too!
I am starting now to do the Free Run.
I love it because for a starter it gets ya going and so far it seems to be working.
I too love all of the other games and exercises on there.

To me it was worth the investment.

I'm trying to do the free run also. I try and jog through it or power walk depending on the day. I figure that if I keep doing it consistently then eventually I'll be able to run the entire thing.

I find space an issue though when it comes to free run. I get bored running on the spot so now I sort of jog around the basement!!

OH see I turn on the TV and jog/run to the free run. It helps me not think about the time. Right now we're overseas and are in an apartment, so I don't have a "house." We are moving to NC Jan 5th and are looking forward to buying one though.

I love my Wii Fit, but don't use it as often as I should. I'm looking into the Wii Fit Plus, but I need to do some more research on it.

We don't have a Wii Fit yet, but I want one! My parents have one, and one sister. Every time we're at my parents' house, the kids get on it. It looks like so much fun. I just never get up the nerve to try it there.

Default Wii Fit Plus

I have it.!! I love it , I bought it because it actually has 15 more games..I have had it only for like 5 days..But let me tell ya I have been on it everyday..usually about 30min in morning and 30 in the evening.. I love the hula hoop, and the free step..I wish I could speed it up though!!!..The Run kicks my butt..I can do the small run/beginner but I have to build up to the 10 min run where im just starting out..the first day I got it..just the small run left me totally out of breath..Because I never excersised..But now..Im like "Is that it" hahah, but anyone wanting a wii fit plus..Its great!!!!!!!

The Wii Fit is the best investment I ever made.My 15 year old daughter was 187 pounds and I was getting nervous about her weight. We bought her the Wii Fit and she started playing everyday. She now weighs 143 pounds. It was the best thing to get her moving while playing games.I just bought the Plus and am loving that. The Kung Fu is also a great workout. That and the boxing really make you feel it in your arms.I wish they would have a longer step aerobics. That is my favorite.I'm trying to do it everyday to get me moving.

I agree, I wish the step aerobics could be higher intensity. Even if you speed it up it's still not really that fast!!

Hopefully Nintendo will release some new Fit stuff soon!
