Default Nervous for Weigh In- Need Support/Encouragement

Hello Everyone,

I was amazing hardcore with exercising and food all of Feb/March.. but April was way downhill from a vacation, my birthday, etc etc.. and I have not been able to get back in my groove of working out and eating well. I seem to have less time now because I started taking LSAT classes which pretty much eat 3 out of the 7 days of my week from just the class.. not even doing homework after work or anything. The days I have class I leave for work at 6:30 am and don't come home until 10:30- by then i have no energy to cook for dinner/cook for lunch the next day/ or exercise. How to fit in a healthy lifestyle with a hectic schedule? Also on the weekends I end up traveling sometimes so I have no time on the weekend to prepare for the week like I went to NYC this weekend did not get home until 11 pm sunday night... I know I can do this I jsut need some pointers...

I have my weigh in- in about 15 minutes and am kinda nervous- hope I didn't gain more...

Thanks!

Well, your weigh in is over by now, and I hope you had a loss. In any event, today is a new day, and you can make up your mind to begin fresh right now. Most of us do have hectic schedules, with jobs, school, children, spouses, etc. and have to find time for planning and preparation of meals. You're right - it can get very hectic, but it's doable! One thing I know for sure - if you want this, you'll find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse. The fact that you're reaching out shows that you DO want this. You could take one evening or weekend afternoon and make ahead enough dinners for the entire week. Get your veggies cleaned and bagged in individual portions, etc. Check out the menu section here for many great ideas! I know other that post here will give you many good ideas, and with all of our support, you will find it easier to plan ahead and stay OP! You can do this!!

Face the scale! Acknowledge the number and understand where it came from! Then get right back on the WW train!
Let us know how you did...

Same thing just happened to me. But I went back to my meeting. I gained 1.8 pounds but it's okay cause I will lose it. I even got a bravo for a NSV I shared that day.

By this time, your decision will have been made -- I hope you went to the meeting and everything went well.

As others have said, I have done this so many times. It's all part of the "I MUST lose 2.5 pounds a week [or whatever impossible goal I've set] or I am a total failure!" syndrome. That's so hard to get over -- someone once told me to redefine "failure" to mean: giving up, not going to a meeting, not getting on the scale. She said, "Just go, get it over with, and then deal with it." Best advice I ever got!
