Question Random Scale Question

Does anyone know if keeping a scale in the bathroom is a bad idea? For instance, can humidity affect it (it's digital)? Naturally I don't have the box/directions anymore. The only other flat surface in my apt. is the kitchen, but maybe that's a good idea - seeing the scale may prevent me from snacking!

I'm just wondering if the discrepancies I'm seeing are due to damage. Thanks for the help!

I've heard that humidity is not good for scales -- thus I have mine in the kitchen. It's a good thing and it does help with the extra snacking!

Hmmm....mine is in the bathroom. Maybe I should move it.

Mine is in the bathroom, too - but it is a well-ventilated room.

I knew it, the dang humidity!! LOL. The scale can be friend or foe. I can get myself really sideways with that scale. If it is up and I'm not expecting it, I go into a spin. If it is down, I get too cocky! I have asked my DH to hide it from me, but I always ask him to go get it back for me. Maybe the kitchen is a good place for it!

I've been weighing daily -- and I know there are people that say it's a BAD thing -- but it keeps me on track. I keep to program and stay away from the stuff I shouldn't be having (I am one of those uncontrollable types....who counts chips anyways when they have them all in a bag?????) I've been stuck for 2 weeks and the scale is moving incredibly slow. First 4 weeks was 5 pounds, last 2 weeks NOTHING. ARghhhhh

I try really hard not to weigh myself daily. A lot of times, I'll weigh myself right before my weigh-in to see how close my scale is to WW's. Then, I usually weigh myself a few days before WI to see how on track I am. When I first started WW, I would weigh myself all the time! I seemed to be doing better when I did that, so I don't know if I should go back to weighing myself daily...
