Pam: There's no rhyme or reason is there? I can't figure it out anymore so I just take what I get Congrats on the weight loss!!

I was down 1.8# today--I am SO excited! I need to keep focused because I'd love to have my wiggle room back when I go to Florida.

It's a nice day here today. Windy, but then again, when isn't it? Packing continues. It's a bit of a slog but I'll get through it. I am reminding myself to be thankful for the time I did spend in this job --for how much I've learned. Better to be grateful than bitter.

Melissa: That's a great price on the flight. Congrats on the loss.

Pam: Ditto re the loss. You both rock.

lala: That ernest. He's so...well...earnest...

Lisa: I had no idea your trip was so close. You must be pumped!

Am scheduled to run hills with the group tonite. I need to get back at my running - haven't been out in almost two weeks due to this cold. But hills?? Kind of a nasty start...

Melissa and Pam: Woo-hoo, yes you girls rock!! I would love to see a loss. Well, it won't happen if I keep stuffing my face, will it?

Melissa, that is wonderful airfare. I've been searching for good prices for our June vacation to Oregon and it's not so good. I'll keep looking as we have time.

Susan, you are gutsy to run in wind and on hills. Yes, I am very pumped. I've been checking the weather in London and Rome and it's warmer than I thought it would be, so...packing is changing. I plan to layer no matter what; that way, if it's warmer, I can take something off.

I found out we are going to see the play, Billy Elliott. I've heard good things about it. I hope to see Spamalot and perhaps Wicked.

Hi everyone.

Giving myself a big pat on the back. I managed 4 hill repeats last nite despite nearly being blown away at the top. The wind was so strong; thank goodness it wasn't cold. I felt remarkably strong despite the 2-week hiatus; perhaps I have enough of a base now to survive these little breaks.

Eating still bad. I'm chalking it up to stress (job, unknown future, etc) God help me...

Susan, good for you! Hills are so tough and in wind no less. Yes, stress makes us eat badly...

It's virtual Friday for me. Tomorrow I plan to play a little golf if the weather cooperates. DH and I will attend a local production of A Chorus Line. I'm curious to see how they do as that is not an easy show. On Saturday and Sunday, I have two performances of the Women in History show. I need to pack (why am I procrastinating???)

On Saturday night some friends want to go to Carrabba's. I like Carrabba's, but their food is high in points. WI is Monday (oh joy).

Hi everyone!

Susan! Whoo hoo on the hills.

I am so jealous. I am going to try and get out tonight. I need me a long (4 miler - walkie/running session).

Ernest does too.

Lisa - when exactly are you leaving town? I'll mail you some stuff or I can give you the lala version of what to do. Your hotel in London is close to lots of museums and there are lots of little grocery storelets and cafes, so you should be okay getting some snacks.

Food is another story.

Ditto for Roma, I will give you the lala version of where to find some kick butt gelato.

Ah, Roma, I have to wait until December to go. Sigh.

Are you coming to Oregon for the Portland Marathon or something else? We may do the half. In that case, that would be cewl. If you are just coming by Portland, I insist you schelp up to Mt. St. Helens and I'll come visit.

If you are going to the coast, let me point you to the tsunami evacuation route maps. (kiddding)

Melissa - good on ya for the loss. Wiggle room is crucial.

Pam - where are you going?

Vibes needed here - my aunt had a bad stroke yesterday. My dad and two of my cousins flew to Dallas today to be with her. I am praying for her recovery and for strength for my dad and my cousins. My mom is home by herself for the first time (seems strange) and she's okay, my dad is freaking that she's by herself. They have alarms, she drives herself everywhere all the time and they live in a gated community. However its giving them food for thought as to where they they really want to live.

Pick me! Pick me!

Did I tell you that my brother is moving back to Seattle? He was offered a most excellent job at the medical school. He'll be the head of his speciality and he'll be back where he grew up. He's very stoked and I'm learning to deal with it.

Anyhoo, everything here is dandy. I visited a new orleans praline yesterday for a snack followed by Switzerland in the form of fondue for dinner. Bad lala.

I think I might have had some tea from Paris, but other than that, I tried to stay local.

Okay, must get back to work. Leaving early to get haircut and brow wax. My waxer was just rated best in seattle, is that cool or what?

Good morning! It's cloudy here this morning but snow is in the forecast for tonight/tomorrow with accumulations. Yesterday we woke up to a little over 2" but by the end of the day it had disappeared. It wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day around here if we didn't have some sort of a snowstorm!

Susan: I can't imagine running hills--I get out of breath just thinking about it! Keep up the great work!!! Maybe try to find something else to do rather than eating--it's hard especially when you're frustrated/stressed. I can totally understand--for me DS #1 still has no wedding date set and as the months pass I'm beginning to get more worried about if they'll be able to pull this off for August!

Lisa: I wish I was going to London! As Lala said, there are little stores that you can buy snacks and "take away" at and they're pretty reasonable. I loved Pret a Manger and there was another store (can't think of the name right now) that had different foods, etc. The nice part about London is that there are so many different cuisines that you can pick from.

Lala: I hope your aunt is doing okay; I know when my dad had his stroke 16 years ago his was just a "minor" one and he didn't suffer any major problems; he was lucky. That's great news on your brother!

Not much going on here--we're still working on that big mailing that needs to get out; my boss is off today so it'll be on the quiet side. I have a doctor's appointment this morning for my blood pressure check and I'll take her the results from my health screenings that I had done in February as part of our wellness fair. Tomorrow morning I'm working at WW and then we have a staff meeting in the afternoon. Should be interesting--it was announced yesterday that our territory manager is done as of today and that we have a new "interim". More later.

lala, I leave on 22 March, so no time for mailings. Yes, send me any info you have about London and Rome. Because I will be on a tour in London, I will get two meals a day, but lunch is up to me, so anyplace you would recommend would be most welcome. I will definitely try fish and chips just to say I did. I am so looking forward to the history of that area and the plays. I love gelato!!! Please send me that info. (yum).

Sorry about your aunt. I hope she'll do better. That's great about your brother.

We picked Oregon because we had never been and DH's sister moved to Bend a couple years ago. We will not be staying with them (long story), but we'll be in a timeshare we traded. It's in Sunriver. Marathon?? I don't think DH has thought about that. He would like to look up a 10K or something.

If you are going to the coast, let me point you to the tsunami evacuation route maps. (kiddding) Knowing your professional field, you're scaring me...I hope to get to the coast anyway.

Melissa, DS#1 hasn't picked a date yet??? In my area, you'd be out of luck--no place for a reception if you wait that long. Churches get booked, too. Yikes. Ditto to you, please send me any info about London--greatly appreciated.

Did the territory manager get fired? Was it for low sales or something? They replaced one here, too. She was just plain weird...

Hi ladies,

It's snowing like crazy here..just when I think spring has arrived another blast of winter.
I think I'm going to leave work early the roads are suppose to be getting slippery. I guess we'll be canceling my birthday dinner plans for tonight with Sis and brother in law

Lisa enjoy dinner tomorrow night at Carraba's. The first time I went to Carraba's was when we were in Miami last fall. I really liked it but your right, not very points friendly.

Melissa your DH and his fiance will have to decide pretty soon, it's getting close.

lala no trips coming up for me in the near future. So sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope she's improving.

Susan congrats on the run...good job!

Well ladies time to wrap up my projects and head home. Have a great weekend!
