Pam: It's bitter here again this morning--only 12 degrees! It's supposed to "warm" up to the mid 20's today and the forecast is calling for warmer temps over the weekend. I'm glad you're enjoying your new vehicle. Wow, Lauren going to the prom! How exciting!

Lala: I'm counting the days until I can get outside and walk again--it's still too bitter here to attempt it. Hopefully the weather is going to get better soon so I can take advantage and get some outdoor walks in.

I went to the meeting yesterday and was up 1.4# which was no suprise since TOM is in full swing. Next week will be much better. I'm sure it also didn't help that I helped DH eat a medium bag of almond M&M's

No major plans for the weekend--I should work on getting things in order. Still no date for DS #1's wedding...I'm getting a little frustrated because I'd like to look for a dress and make some plans for the summer and I can't because I don't know what's going on. I'm trying to be patient but it's getting difficult

lala, Yum, seafood. Did you find a place to have a nice meal? Ernesto ha un anno? Non lo credo!

Melissa, sorry about the gain, but TOM will do that. I am so fortunate to be able to get out and walk and not worry about bitter cold weather. You will be so glad to have warm weather. Why doesn't DS#1 have a wedding date yet? If it's this year, they had better get cracking.

Pam, prom for Lauren? That should be nice. Yes, as lala said, post a pic of the dress.

Hello to Susan and Karynlee and others

lala, I love hush puppies, but I don't get them that often. What is hummingbird cake?

This weekend I have rehearsal for the Haydn oratorio which will be presented on Sunday afternoon. Taking Pilates on Saturday. DH is working, so I'll start packing for my trip to London and Rome (leave 3/22) and just putzing around the house. The person I was going to ask to be my alternate at work is going to be on vacation, too. Now I don't know who is going to be my alternate.

What is everyone else doing this weekend? It's supposed to be beautiful here. Maybe I'll get a chance to go to the beach.

Good morning! It's bright and sunny here this morning allbeit a little cool (24). We're supposed to hit around 40 so I'm definitely going to head outside for a walk at noon. I didn't get to walk yesterday so I'll take advantage of the weather & sun and get out on my lunch hour. The forecast is looking really nice for the next week with temps in the 40's and maybe even in the 50's by Wednesday! I know we'll still get some snow because March is so unpredictable.

No major plans for the weekend--DS #2 has bowling on Saturday morning and then I'll probably do some things around the house. DH is going to be in Pittsburgh for the day so I can maybe do some things in our room that I've been putting off. We'll see if the mood strikes

Lala: Hushpuppies are good...I don't eat them all that much. Hummingbird cake sounds interesting...what was it like?

Lisa: No beach here...we have ice dunes on our beaches.

Susan: How's everything going with you? I know you said you were planning on getting to a WW meeting on Saturday--I hope that works out for you.

Pam: I hope your neck of the woods is going to get the nice weather as well...it seems as if February was one snowstorm after another!

It's going to be interesting with the time change over the weekend--the radio station this morning was commenting that it's going to be dark when we get up in the morning again...I forgot about that. It'll be nice to have it lighter longer in the day though.

Good morning everyone.

Came down with another cold at the beginning of the week and was off work Tuesday and part of Wednesday. Still not feeling that great. I also eat horribly when I'm sick, so am less than enthusiastic about getting weighed tomorrow but I think I'll do it anyway.

Plans for the weekend - volunteer visit tomorrow morning, new dresser being delivered sometime tomorrow afternoon, birthday bash for a local musician tomorrow nite but not sure about that..don't feel much like partying although that could change. Sunday am - long run, cold permitting. Otherwise, I need to clean my house.

Temps have been bitter all week - negative 30 with wind chill this morning. I want this winter to be over - now!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Susan
