Default Need a bit more info about Core

I don't attend meetings in my area, but a friend of mine is a lifetime member, so I may ask her, but I think she followed the points one. I myself think I would do better on the Core as I am Hypothyroid and white and fluffy makes me crave more and sticks to me like glue.....I do have the occasional brown rice/pasta dish and that is okay but feel that I have to limit it to only 1 time a day or the scale doesn't move. I was wondering about the amount of extras your allowed in a week and do you take into account exercise as well? That would be my only stumper and from what I have red, it seems like you can only have 1 carb like that a day? And is there a fruit limit as well? Anything you can tell me would be great and it can be in your own words, not from the program........TIA
Off topic, how do I change my weight on my scale here, I haven't been for a few months and unfortunately the chickie needs to move up to 220 start weight.............

You get the 35 weekly/flex points for both programs and on both programs your activity points can be added to use for more non-core fods.

Carbs that can be eaten to satisfaction are whole wheat pasta, brown rice and other healthy carbs. The only thing that is limited to what you have points for are breads, white pastas, sugars

No

Personally I don't do well on Core because I feel deprived. I don't eat fat free cheese, fat free salad dressings and my weekly points get used up quick leaving me nothing for any treat I may want, crave or need. I do better on Flex trying to follow mostly Core foods.

Thanks for the info, I might have to do a bit more research to see which one is better, I just assumed that core would be better, but maybe flex is a option. I just don't want to get into the rut of having granola bar, counting them as 2 points and just eating those for snacks, that was my downfall last time months ago.
