Unhappy New and thinking about th "Wendie" plan

Hello! I'm new to the whole Points / WW system and the first week was great: I lost 6 lbs, was getting in cardio and weight training every day, and sticking to my calories and points just as I was supposed to. Then I get through the second week doing the same stuff and NOTHING happens on the scale. Yup, I know, nothing happens overnight, but I guess the point of my post is, for those that know something about this "Wendie" plan, is it unrealistic to move to the plan so soon after starting the Points program? And for those that have tried it, anyone with success using it consistantly?? Thank you!!

Default Good Question

I was reading yesterday and came across the Wendie plan...and wondered the same thing. I am just finishing my first week and haven't been to weigh in yet, only weighing myself at home, so I'll wait for the official word...lol Can't wait to see the replies!

I love the Wendie Plan. I hit one heck of a stand-still with my diet - the scale was staying in the same 2-pound range for weeks. It was driving me insane! Someone suggested that I try the Wendie Plan, so I did. The weight started coming off again at a healthy rate of 1.5 - 2 lbs per week. I love the Wendie Plan. I organized my points with my SHD (Super High Day) and other higher-point days for days of the week I knew I'd need them the most, and it's nice to know that my SHD is coming if I'm craving something of high-point value that week... I can just hold off until then.

Anyway, I love the plan and it's worth giving it a try!

Ok you had a great loss week one and it is ok to not lose anything the second week. You said you have cardio and weight training which can cause water retention in the muscles not showing a loss or even showing a gain. You need to give your body time to adjust.

Personally, The Wendi plan is no different that utilizing all your points that W/W gives you and varying the points every day. Some days having low points and other days having high points. Wendi is a great gal (I do know her she started posting here and then went to Dotti's then opened her own site) and she just came up with the idea of flex points before W/W did. The only thing she does is assign days for your low, moderate and high point days.
