The first round of WW (2005) I found that carrots (free points) got me thru the first 3 days when I felt like I was dying. Like you I had come off of eating out ALOT, well basically eating alot.
My second time around (started 1-8) I didn't find that I was particularly hungry all the time. Even though I had gained all of my lost weight back from before, I know that it wasn't so much WHAT I was eating (ok so when I realized I was having peanut M&M's almost every day for the past couple of mths) but my problem lies in serving sizes. I definatly can't eyeball portions!
You are lucky to have your mom willing to go with you. I don't have anyone to go. In fact since I am going to meetings on Mondays in the morning, I think even at 35 I have to be the youngest person there, I am not sure I will find friends there either, ya know. So I am depending on this site to get my real support and friendly motivation.
