  • No, I don't have celiac disease. It was just something my trainer, who is 65, mentioned because when she gave up gluten (she's sensitive to it), she lost that midlife roll around her middle. I'm betting that only she could see it, however. And she said that when she does slip and eat gluten, she gets that immediate thickening in the abdominal area so you could be on to something.
  • Thaks Sheilla for that info, I am going to try it out for a few days or a week sometime to see if it makes any difference difference ...
  • I am very gluten sensitive. I went to the doctors a few years ago because I was having trouble with dairy products, I found out that I am allergic to dairy. My doctor also told me that I was also probably gluten sensitive, so I am not supposed to eat anything with gluten in it. When I don't eat it, I feel so much better. When I do eat it, which I have been alot lately, I feel horrible, very bloated and just tired. One summer I attempted to not eat any wheat products and I lost alot of "flub", and had alot more energy.
