Oh see now, this is like opening a whole new can of worms for me. I just don't want anyone to "approach me" while I'm at the gym. Okay, you can stop rolling on the floor laughing now. Originally Posted by Meg

Really, there is no real threat of that I'm sure. I wear my ipod the moment I leave the locker room and have it cranked up loud enough that people have to use hand gestures to get my attention.
But still, take the ring off...? A lot of people do this?
I haven't really noticed or looked. I'm sure I'm just being really silly about it. Most of the regulars and staff know that I'm married with kids. The time of day that I go is really "mom hour" too so I'm sure its just one of my silly insecure things.
Okay, I'll be brave. When I go back in a few weeks, I'll take it off.
The ring that is.
(Lydia thinking of her fearless leaders Meg and Ilene who have gone where she herself is only thinking of. If they can work out without their rings, well I can too) I swear though, it anyone bothers me you ladies are going to get an earfull!

Actually, before I was dating my DF and going to the gym almost every day, various people would be friendly but it was mostly the old guy lifters in their effort to be encouraging. Sometimes younger guys would say a word or 2 but it wasn't anything like "hey baby, what's your number". You can recognize the girls going to the gym trying to get picked up and I wasn't one of them
They are pretty powder blue and all girly-girl
I'm trying to keep my hands all smooth and soft for wedding ring close ups!
