Default So has anyone caught the new show "Workout" on Bravo?

It's on Tuesdays at 9 pm. I have yet to catch a full episode, but catch fragments on various ones as I flip thru. It's a full hour show. Ultimately over glitzed up for HOllywood, and it seems more about people's personal lives than training, but I thought I would try to catch the full hour tomorrow before I make that generalization. Has anyone seen it yet? Even if I get just a few workout tips and watch the trainers train a few clients, it will be a fun way to pass time on the treadmill.

I've watched all 3 episodes too. Nothing like the biggest loser or anything. It's more about the trainer's life (jackie), lifestyle, love interest, business ethic and managerial skills. Yes you do get some tips here and there but the focus is maybe 25 % only on exercise. It is okay entertainment though, so I watch it. I like Jackie but she has an obnoxious and immature girlfriend that is difficult to stand...ugghhh

OK, so I just caught all 3 of the episodes on a mini-marathon this afternoon.

I LOVE the show!! I don't like the personal relationship side bc Mimi drives me C-R-A-Z-Y and I really like Jackie and want her to have someone she doesn't have to baby so much, grrr. It's like all take, no give, and distraction from her running her business. BUT, love the training tips and seeing the healthy lifestyle in action. LIke them eating egg white omelets and protein shakes for breakfast. Also, they are training a new client named Tess who's in real bad shape, and it's very interesting watching how they approach her training. It's on again at 9 tonite for anyone who wants to catch it.

I am very much enjoying the show myself. Jackie is not quite built like me, but she is still a role model in what she accomplishes for herself physically and especially mentally having such a clear focus and successful business. Mimi and Jackie's mom both drive me batty, wanted to reach through the tv and smack them both. Anyways, it's been a success both times I've caught it while flipping, inspired me to lift that night!

I don't have cable any more so no I think "Buff Brides" was my favorite show for showing people losing weight by exercise and diet.

I loooove this show. I'm an addict. You guys are right.. most of this show focuses on Jackie, which is ok cause she is so buff and has an inspirational body. Most of the clients seem kind of... privileged I guess, but I like the ones who actually seem to be working towards real fitness goals. Not just the ones who are trying to perfect their already perfect LA bodies.

Did anyone catch when she said she never did crunches? She must be getting some serious core work in during her other work outs.

I did hear that and was shocked, as it looked like Zen was as well!! I think she has a genetically gifted body to start with, but yes, she works hard to get abs like that. Diet is everything they say.

I love the show too! I would love to go and workout with Jackie. (Although, it would be too scary.) I do like that they don't just train celebrities, but they also help people with serious problems that would otherwise have surgery. That's really motivating!
