Question How do you maintain?

I promise, I'm not afraid of getting bulked up. But my calves are pretty huge at this point. They were big enough from hauling all my weight around and a past history of ballet, and they are all muscle. But they are getting to the point where pants get stuck on them and are really a bit too big for my taste. I haven't done much in the way of actual calf exercises, but my Jazzercise class, yoga/pilates work, elliptical, and squats seem to be making them bigger.

How can I keep my calves from getting bigger than they already are?

Sorry that no one has yet answered your question but this is what I think... Once you get your body fat down to 15-20% you will be able to see quite a difference in your calves and any other body part for that matter... What is happening at the moment is that there is probably a layer of fat on top of the muscle, that once the fat is gone your calves won't seem so big...

Lori -
Do you feel like the bulk is muscle or mucle with fat over it. Like my arms are getting bigger (b/c now I can do bicep curls of 20 pounds easily), but I can feel strong muscles under there.

It's just that i have a lot to lose still and my arms feel big.
