Heh ... this puts paid to the whole "scales are everything" mindset - I didn't lose ANY weight in September, in fact I gained then dropped back to my low weight of August again!
Wow! They're not kidding when they say a picture is worth a thousand words! There's really been a big change over the past months. Fantastic progress!! Can't wait to the results of your new workout routine!
Silverbirch: posture has been a huge problem for me and strength training has improved it enormously!!
I am a bit frustrated at the moment because I've been sick and our car is broken so I couldn't go to the gym tonight and may not be able to go at all for the rest of the week (nooooooo! cries!!!!!!) but maybe it's for the best, and it won't stop me from getting there ... because the progress you see in those pics is DESPITE getting sick on and off the whole time and occasionally having to miss workouts and having the occasional bad week, and eating the occasional naughty meal. What you do some of the time is not what counts, it's what you do ALL of the time!!
I agree with what everybody has said: your progress looks amazing, GEAA!
...your belly alone looks about half the size in September - of what it did in May (and only 4 months?!) Truly great work!!! (and yes: you do look great too! )
Your doing a fantastic job!
Your right the scales lie so much dont they.
I can see such a big difference in your waist and neck, you must feel wonderful
When i had my monthly measurement's done at fernwood, i lost 6cm in my hips within a month, 4cm in my waist, 1cm in my thighs and 1cm in my arms, and the scale has said i have only lost 1kg in the past month!
Weight training really does pay off well doesn't it
