Hiya

How big is a serving of veggies? I've got the carb/protien thing down but I dont know if im overdoing it on the broccoli and beans heh

Depending on the type of beans some can have high carbs and thus need to be treated as carbs. As for broccolli it is what I call the perfect vegetable - you can eat tonnes of it!

I figured Tidey meant string beans and green beans.

I always think of beans like pinto, blackeye, etc. as legumes (carbs). :dizzy:

I am not sure about the US but over here the word bean is used very commonly whereas legume is rarely used. Most legumes in Australia are called beans believe it or not. :lol:

Tidey being from an O/S country - I just wanted to make sure what she was talking about! :D :D

We call 'em beans here too. Except when they're peas! (or peanuts) :lol:

Just having one of those 'brain fart' days I guess :dizzy: probably from too many beans like the song says!

I am used to eating a LOT of fruit and veg. so I was beginning to feel deprived (its only day 3 lol)
