Hello Motivation...

  • ...I see you've brought your friends. They're welcome anytime!

Just wanted to say, I started NROL4W last Wed.
My schedule is Lift M-W-F, Cardio T-TH. I've been pretty darn good about diet, and it's already paying off. I stepped on the scale today purely out of curiosity, because I don't necessarily care about weight, just size and appearance, but I am down 3 lbs!

Thanks to everyone who posts on this forum for letting me lurk...I have been so inspired by all of you and your success! I have been working hard and sweating like I never have before. It feels great! Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!
  • Stop lurking and join outright, lol. Good for u!
  • So glad you came out of lurkdom!

    Welcome

    Mel
  • Hey DollFace! Glad to see you here! The book and lifting plan are great! Just follow along and you'll have great success. Don't hesitate to chime in about your own experience or with any questions about that experience.
  • I'm doing the same thing But a little more loosely lately because things have just gotten extremly busy this month.

It's a great plan, it's helped reshape my body more than just cardio and dieting. I don't think I say that enough haha.
  • Hi Dollface! I am doing NROL4W too!! I am only 5 workouts in as I didn't do any last week (lots of other exercise though!) and have picked it back up this week. I hope that week off so early on hasn't been detrimental! I really want to see the program through as I am already noticing a difference in how many real, on-my-toes push-ups I can do and that's awesome.

Best of luck with it! Please come back, stop lurking and update us/me on your progress. It'd be nice to have a thread going and/or a buddy
  • I'M OUT I'M OUT!!!!LOL Thanks everyone. I feel great! I love this. When I was working out before (in between pregnancies) I would run 3 miles and then do all of the circuit machines, every day, no fail. It helped a little but not like I expected. I just wasn't informed. Now I am armed with knowledge, motivation and support. I love bringing my worksheets in and writing my progress down. Although, I am so ready for nap time everyday...lol. It's great to snuggle with my daughter and we both get the rest we need. Also, I don't think I've ever eaten so much in my life! Somedays, I am choking down the last few meals b/c I am just not hungry, but trying to get in my macronutrients and calories. Still have a hard time believing that I am eating more than ever before, and am losing weight!! What a concept! LoL thanks again for the inspiration all!! You are some UH-MAZING women!
  • Lee Anne, welcome, and congratulations on your progress!
