Default 5 Factor Fitness and Thighs question

I just started 5 Factor Fitness which for those of you who aren't familiar is a five week program to get you started and then a maintenance program after. You warm up 5 minutes, 10 minutes of strength training (every week he adjusts reps and sets so your body never adapts), 5 minutes or core and then finish off with cardio with a minimum amount of 5 minutes. I will do probably 25-20 miunutes. You work your legs 2x per week. My question is: my legs are my problem area and was wondering if I could incorporate Beach Body's 8 Minute Thighs tape to do everyday (you don't use weight with this tape just your body weight - lots of squats etc...). I don't want to overtrain but I really want to get results quickly. Any suggestions or input is greatly appreciated

Sorry, I haven't heard of 5 Factor, so I can't offer any insight there. As for the 8 Minute tapes, even if you are not using additional weight - depending on how heavy you are - it could still be a very strenous muscle workout. I would not do it more than every other day, with a 48 hr rest period in between, whether it's your program of the additional tapes.

Hey Gumby, there's a whole thread on this plan here - a few people have been following since early in the year! I'm gonna check it out.

I'm about half done with the book and so far I like what he writes. It applies to all us BFL-type people...frequent meals, healthy food choices, and he encourages exercise. The only turnoff was when he said twice in there, "the last diet book you'll ever need to buy". blech Other than that though, I like, so I'll just blame that on his evil PR folks! lol

Thanks for the links hrbabe! I haven't worked out in weeks (bad girl ) but when the kids get back to school I will start up again. I also ordered Hip Hop Abs to go along with it so hopefully when I turn 40 next year I will finally have a body that I feel confident enough to put a bathing suit on
