Default What is a tummy tuck like?

Do they use the same scar as a c/section, if you've had one? And I guess it doesn't hurt as much as a c/s, because they are only working with the skin and not the fascia/muscles. Or do they tighten the muscles also? Or is it a bigger scar that goes from hip to hip on the front?

Thanks Meg. I googled it too, but got stuck in alot of sites that cosmetic surgeons advertise on and post their photos to. So it was hard to know what was done, and of course, I couldn't see any scars bc they were all below the panty line on these people. Hard to know who had a trad. tt or who had a full tt. I will hit maintainers.

Hi Meg, yes, on the site that I found, it differentiated between who had a full tt and a separate type of tt. Could it be whether the scars are hip to hip or more like a c/s, or whether they just cut skin at the bottom (traditional) or literally pull down the upper skin and cut a new belly button (Full)?
