Jiffypop,
I read your post and was really interested as to what you have been experiencing. I had my WLS surgery in October 2003. I have lost a total of 65 lbs so far bringing my weight to 205lbs. Okay that doesn't sound too bad
BUT I haven't lost any weight for nearly two months and I have been following a regular exercise schedule (going to the gym) since the beginning of February.
Yes, exercising and loosing the 65 lbs. has made me feel better and I thank God for this. However I am a little discouraged. When they retook my measurements recently (at the gym) I had actually gained inches in some places
I know that I have insulin resistance. The surgeon who did my WLS predicted that I my have a problem losing more than 80 lbs but I didn't believe him and besides 80 lbs would be better than nothing at all
So I am going to take you info and see if I can make some chages in my eating plan.
Sorry this was a little lengthy.....I needed to vent and possibly get some advice
Thanks
