Well I just went back to my surgeon a week ago for him to check on my incision that finally healed after 4 1/2 months and at the same time he gave me my third fill. This is the first time it was done in the office and it was definitely not as good of an experience than having it done in radiology, but I did not want to have to wait an additional week.
The surgeon has my starting weight prior to the surgery at 296. I belive that is the weight about a month prior. I have been steadily taking off 10 pounds a month and as of weighing myself this morning I am around 222. My official surgery date was 12-31-07 and I had another surgery unrelated three weeks later on 1-22-08. After all that I began exercising at the beginning of April of 2008. So in about 6 1/2 - 7 months I am down 74 lbs. I started working with a trainer and see him about two times a week. I have had about six sessions ... he kicks my butt!!!
It is definitely a long road and I knew that prior to surgery. I feel like I am working my @ss off and not seeing a lot of progress even though I know I am. Guess the process never gets easier. Just trying to look at the positive of everything.
Hope all is well with all of you out there ... take care and be safe
