Smile Starting over

Because I've gained more weight than I've lost, Depression over my mother and the whole boyfriend thing last week... I've come to the point where I'm starting over with a freash mind.

I've gotten lazy, I keep my calories in check, but my work outs have been more like wussouts. But now that I don't have my BF to suck up all my thought and time, I can keep my mind on more important things.... like HOMEWORK!!! I'm very behind in that and I'm so ashamed about it. @_@ (Teacher's Pet Alert)

But I'm also going to start over with my diet and workout. Dad took me out for pizza tonight, just to have a bit of Father-Daughter time. I let myself eat whatever I wanted. And that was about 2 slices of the yummiest pizza i've had in a long time and some water with lemon. Even though I let my diet go for this moment, I found I didn't/couldn't.. go crazy with the food. It just didn't seem that appealing(spelling?)

The water with lemon held my attention taste wise better than the pizza. (Mostly because I added some sugar in my water and squeezed two lemon slices and made me some free lemon-aid lol and then boasted to my father about how I cheated the system because water is free!) I'm glad that my taste in food and the amount of food I eat has changed so much.

I'm not going to get scale crazy this time. This time I will go by inches and how my clothes feel. And I'll only weigh myself twice a week... not 3 times daily @_@

At the moment I want to detox..I know water is a good thing to flush the system, but do any of you have any good 1 week "blast off" type things that will help jump start me up again?

Sakai- it sounds like you are in a great state of mind to start fresh. I think having other major life changes is a great time to also change your lifestyle. Good luck and stick with it!

I do think new beginnings make it easier for us to hop back on the bandwagon. I'm at a serious change of routine myself and I am enjoying it so much!

It's great that your taste buds have changed! and your attitude is awesome keep up the good work

Thanks ^_^ I'm so happy because I went to the gym today and weighed myself. And I back to my original starting weight. So I lost 10 pounds @_@... So I hope this will jump start me into keeping active and eating right.
