Sweetheart, don’t let this Ms. Mean engagement thing get to you. I’m a firm believer in a little thing some people call karma, others call destiny, faith, etc. Whatever you want to call it, just remember that yours is coming to you and hers is coming to her. It may not be in the exact shape and form you would expect it to be, but sooner or later you will be rewarded for all your suffering and she will be “rewarded” for all the misery she caused to others.
So, forgive her for the meanness, forgive yourself for the doughnuts and move on with your life.
