Hey Star ~
let me tell you my story... After my daughters first b-day My hubby went to bootcamp and I decided to lose weight( I weighed 170) I did this 3 day diet that the military does to loose up to 10 lbs in those three days. Now I ate food but it only contain about 800 calories a day. then I started to susbtitute my red meats for turkey, blAH,BLAH ... All healthy foods. But then the weight slowed down And two weeks went by. So I started to cut all meats, all meats out of my life and ate nothing but fruits and veggies. I swear my weight dropped so quickly. and I worked out everyday for about an hour. By the time my hubby finished bootcamp(8weeks) I was down to 140. Then two weeks later 135-130.

I was beyond tired. My body did not want to do nothing.I was like this for a goos 6 months. I just wanted to sleep. So finally I had some meats and bread and i promise you I gained my weight back so quickly. About 10 lbs in a month in a half. So please I beg you do this the right way. You are going to hurt your body.

Like everyone else, Substitue and stay postive. After having my son in 2005 it has been really hard for me to loose. I despertly wanna go back to the whole crash diet deal but I know it is not the way to do it. I started to right way in jan. of this year. Slow progress but well worth it.

I eat whatever I whant just smaller portions. Good luck to you and I hope the diet works for you.

So its been a while since I checked the forums on here, I have to admit I was niave about how to eat healthy. After reading everyones opinions I actually got mad, I was determined to prove I could lose weight MY way.. which was starving for a while then eating a little and starving again. I was even working out back then and I lost maybe 10 pounds but it kept coming back. I accepted the fact that I didnt know a thing about eating healthy and how to do it right. I went to my doctor, he referred me to another doctor and Im on this diet , it sounds similar to lindora. In the last 4 weeks I lost 22 pounds and Im not even working out yet, I drink alot of water and I cut out the fried foods, pasta, and all the cheesy foods I love to eat. I feel so much better now, I have energy and Im motivated to keep it up because I can see results. I dont even crave hamburgers or other greasy bad foods because I feel tired and lazy after I eat that stuff anyways. Im so glad ive been enlightened. thank you ALL truely for your advice and many thanks to this website!!
