S/C/G: SW:226/16st - about 50lbs lost

Height: 5'8"

Default EEEK! I've eaten my day's calories and it's only lunchtime!

Oh poo!

I've eaten a danish pastry, 2 cookies, 1 chocolate, among other "snacks" that I brought to work!

Including my lunch and a protien shake for dinner, that's all my calories for the day. However I am quite full now, and I did eat healthy stuff as well as non-healthy stuff, so perhaps I'll have my chicken sandwich when I'm belly-hungry and then have my protein shake this evening.

I'm such a doofus!

I think we all have days like you're having now. You are definetly NOT a doofus, just on a bad day. Or even just a bad lunch. You have the power to stop the unhealthy food from entering your mouth for the remainder of the day. Stop the binge in its tracks and feel how good the choice makes you feel. Do you know what made you eat more than usual? Did you exercise more/harder yesterday? That sometimes makes me ravenous the next day?
Good luck breaking free from the bad food today, and continuing your normal healthy lifestyle for the afternoon!

You'll be fine, this was only 1 day in the span of a long journey. Just pick back up where you left off

i can't say anything different than these lovely ladies have already said. when we have a bad day...we have to make a choice...do it all over again tomorrow or start over tomorrow. when i have a bad day...i don't let it get me down. i just realize it is one day out of a thousand good days. just move past it and you will be fine. good luck!! we're all here for you!!

I don't think you've had a bad day at all. So you had some snacks earlier in the day than you might normally, and maybe they weren't all that healthy as compared to what you might normally have, but you said that with your protein shake for dinner and your sandwich for lunch, you're still within your calories for the day, so you're all set! Maybe it's more sugar than you're used to, but not every day can be nutritionally perfect. Now you've gotten your fill of some junk for a while, you fit it into your plan, and you can go back to mostly healthy foods again tomorrow. No problem!

Thanks guys!

I'm truly struggling to resist those danishes in the kitchen! And a creme egg that's been sitting happily in my fruit bowl for weeks is really starting to call to me!

I'm doing ok, I've had oatmeal instead of my chicken sandwich and that's pushed my calories up Gah! I'll cope, but I know I have a report to write at home tonight, so I know it's DANGER ZONE! Plus starting the day on the wrong foot doesn't help with the night time munchies!

I'm trying to be strong! I really am!

Take the creme egg, and cut it neatly into four. Then flush it down the toilet. (don't want it to cause a blockage)

Hey girl, trust me, I have had days like this. You WILL get through it. Maybe you're just hungrier more than normal today. It won't wreck your whole plan. you can do it!

Yeah they're at work! I was feeling particularly strong last week and was nibbling things one at a time - and the Creme egg wasn't bothering me! Well it's not there any more!

I did turn my day from blip to blimp however. I found some chocolate... At least I don't feel like eating any more

And you know it's crazy, I'm eating everything because I'm feeling under the weather and I can't exercise. How's that for you? Sorry body, I can't take you to the gym, so to make matters worse I'm going to stuff you full of hydrogenated vegetable oil, pastry and chocolate. Feel better now? No wonder I feel funny!

Sorry guys I'm just having a total BLAH day. Ick! I'm taking charge, I'm giving myself a full rest day tomorrow and I'm going to cook myself a delicious lunch so that I'm not tempted to eat all the rubbish that is going to be out on the buffet table because of our AGM!

Thanks for all your kind words. I'm going to go home and finish off this report, then DF is going to pamper me
