Yes. Being very busy. We're doing some redecorating because we have family staying here for a wedding in May. I've been painting and cleaning etc.
I have to caution that I've had to plan my foods carefully. It'd be pretty easy to run out for restaurant supper because I've been too busy to cook.
However, I think the real lesson for me is that, even after all this time, I did not realise how sedentary I really am.
For me, the answer is a solid "Not really." When I eat less and exercise more, I lose weight. If I do don't, I stay the same or gain. For me my bad eating habits were pretty deeply ingrained, and I do have to be concious of what I put in my mouth. I don't pay attention, I gain, simple as that.
One weird thing for me is if I eat more then usual one day a week, I see a loss. I think it's that whole "wendy plan" of keeping your body guessing how many calories it is going to get. Now, I don't mean going crazy and eating a box of doughnuts. Just having a larger meal then usual or a regular dessert will do it for me.
