Maybe I will try baking apples?!?! But I really want cake, soft, creamy cake.. arg. I think I can, I think I can, ladies I need some I am good all month and then TOM has to rear its ugly head. Im going to try to wait it out.. eat dinner first, maybe they will go away.

I know exactly how you feel. One night around TOM last month, I really wanted a brownie. I wanted them so bad that I went to the store and walked around the bakery section... then I left (without buying anything) and CRIED all the way home. It's TOUGH, dude!

Hang in there. Maybe try some of the WW pre-packaged cake things? I have tried the brownie ones before, and they're small, but taste good! It might help satiate your cravings, at least... Don't give in to simple sugar, though... it always seems like when you get a little, you want more and more and more of it.

Here's some to help tide you over. You can do it! Don't give in... if you give in, the craving will just be replaced with guilt and disappointment. If you can refrain, the craving will eventually be replaced with pride and knowledge of your own strength!

My local grocery store has Weight Watchers twinkies - much easier to eat one piece, than avoid a whole cake!

I tried the WW ones they are so little, So I eat like 3 of them lol. Kinda defeats the purpose. Im not worried about eatting the whole cake, I wouldnt do that, I know better. I will get over it. Even though the cake I make is fat free, its still loaded with sugar and shtuff.

I LOVE the WW Fudge bars, they are only 1 pt!!! Tonight, I cut one up into bite sized pieces, crushed a bag of 100cal. snack oreos on it and a dollop of FF cool whip...if you're on WW it's only 3 pts...and definitely feels like you're cheating!! Good Luck w/the TOM cravings...I know this helped mine

If you really, really, want cake-here is what to do. Get a small package of the "dessert shells" at the store-the little round ones. They are under 100 calories each. Then get a package of fresh strawberries, and slice yourself an entire 1 cup full and pour over. The strawberries will add bulk and make the dessert "bigger" unlike those WW teeny snacks, they will add a fruit serving, and 1 cup is only 45 calories. So-you can have a full size desert for under 145 calories. The actual amount will depend on the shell brand. Enjoy.

B: 3/4c oatmeal w/ organic raisins, smart balance and pure maple syrup as a sweetner

L: 2 heaping TBS spinach parmesan hummus with triscuits, serving of bolthouse whey protein drink

S: handful, approx 6 chips ( simple carb, cooked with high monosaturated fat) still chips none the less

D: 2cups of whole wheat couscous, cooked with Lean Turkey Sausage, asparagus and cheese ( i love cheese)

I'm right where you are right now, Ready2Shed - I am ravenous all the time!!! I could not get enough food yesterday - I managed to stay healthy for the most part, but I ate SO much, and I'm feeling the same way today. I know there are cookies at home, too.... calling my name... hang in there!

I love the WW snack cakes. I also found some banana muffins for 1 point a piece. They arent too small, but they arent big either. Great banana taste. I also found some twinkie like cakes also, they arent WW but those are great and only 2 points.

I have had those cravings before when I MUST have a REAL brownie. I just want the one, but I want it!! When I get those, I go to the store and get one of the Betty Crocker Brownie Bowls that you add water and heat in the microwave for about 40 seconds. They are SO good and they satisfy the craving without crushing me with calories (they are 370 calories). I am a calorie counter and I just make room for it by shifting around the rest of my calories for that day.

I have the sugar cravings days before the TOM and then I eat everything in sight during the TOM. I gave in today - I ate a minature snicker and twix. I really wanted to walk to the store and get a Little Debbie brownie but it was raining outside.

It is tuff. I think I am going to try to strawberry idea.

I just have to make it hard to get whatever tasty snack item I want. If it's in the house, or I'm not too busy that I have time to go pick it up, I will
