First of all that is amazing... You should be so proud of yourself!!! I am curious though as to what you limited your caloric intake to..

Hi Jaime and welcome!!! There are lots of encouraging and supportive people here! You'll do great! Congratulations on your weight loss. It's really hard to say how I think you are doing since you don't really give much information as to your plan of eating (how many calories and how healthy, etc.) -- but just stick with a healthful plan and get that exercise and you'll do great!

I have limited my caloric intake to about 1100-1200 calories a day and about 12 glasses of water at least and I am honestly NOT hungry, and I work out on a treadmill at 3.0 mph at a 4.0 incline for about an hour everyday, and based on my weight right now that burns about 400-500 calories. My family too was concerned that I was doing it ina healthy way, but honestly I stay at home all day most of the time because of my job so I have much more time to excersise. Sometimes I try my Yoga tape to enhance my strength and after my workouts on the treadmill I lift some free weights to help with my upper body strength (which I have never had). I just take this very seriously, to me its about saving my life and about me being able to have children someday and being able to carry them at a reasonable weight and being around for the rest of my life. When my husband brought home this calorie book and I actually saw what I was eating I almost felt physically ill, we were eating close to 3000 calories a day, never again I say and now that I know I can do it and I am educated about what Iam eating I have no excuse, I am only 24 and completely healthy apart from asthma so there is no excuse for me to carry around all this baggage. I thank you all for your support, concern and suggestions. All the best

jaime

Hi Jaime

Sounds as if you have a great plan! I know what you mean about the water... I am drinking lots of it too and I don't get hungry when I stick with my eating plan. I am glad you are spending your days doing something positive like exercising! I wish I had more time so I could do a lot more but it helps to be able to walk on my breaks and lunch hour!

Great job!!!
