Angry Blah!!!!!

I seem to be having the same issues as other people and it is nice to know that i am not alone but... I really want this new Life style to work this time.... i had really good intentions and i started out really well. i lost 7 pounds right away. But now i am back to craving the chocolate and junk food. i blew it this whole weekend.... i ate like a crazy woman.. i went to a stupid buffet with my in laws, i ate greasy hamburgers and Dairy Queen... ( not once but twice this weekend) i feel like i am starting lose ground. I tried to go back and have low fat turkey sanwhich with lettuce on it for lunch and it just tasted horrible, my taste buds have had a taste of sugar and fat again and that is exactly what it is craving. I know that this is a set back but how am i going to get back to the way it was.... i feel like i am failing faster than i can stop my self....

When you start to feel like this, you need to stop and take it on step at a time. Give yourself the opportunity to succeed. If you had a good breakfast this morning then you have started the day with success. Follow it with another and you will soon find you want to make the right choices.

Also try not having any refined sugars or flours and take chromium tablets, this will eliminate most of your cravings if not all of them.

Then make sure you include some reasonable quantities of the treats you love.

hang in there! I had the same problem this weekend, and i agree it's tough to get back on the wagon when you know you've fallen off. But, you can't do anything to change what has already happened, you can only control what is still in front of you! I was having a really terrible time this morning dealing with this exact issue, and after making good choices today and working out really hard at the gym and talking to people on here, I am beginning to realize that my "setback" was more of a little detour. I made some bad choices and paid for it on the scale, but i'm not ready to give up just yet. And you're not either! You can do it. The plan works for you (as you've already lost 7 pounds! Congrats!), if you work it.

Best of luck

If you fall off the wagon and we all do, get right back on it. Accept that you made a bad food choice and move on. It can be hard cutting fat out of your diet right away, at first I couldn't stand fat free foods but now I'm used to them. When I've worked hard at the gym and I really want a Starbucks latte and cake I remind myself of the hard work I did and that I don't want to undo it, that is usually enough to get me past the craving. After a while the cravings went away.

You can do it, you just have to make the right choices and move on after you make bad ones.

Missprincess, I know what you mean. I've been doing horribly lately as well. We have our high school friend from Mongolia for this week, and its been disgusting. We've been going out to eat, and well lets just say I wasn't sticking to the plan. Anyways, I am thinking that I will not let this screw everything up. I will go back on the wagon right a way, and do it all over again.
