I noticed in my face and neck first, then my shoulders/collarbone area... Very recently, friends mentioned that I looked slimmer through my middle, too, and sure enough, i've lost about 5 inches from my waist! Now if I could just get rid of my huge chest and thighs... I've only lost about 1 inch from my chest so far...
I noticed first in my legs...I have pretty slim calves as is but now it looks almost ridiculous, makes the rest of me look that much bigger I think it's just because I've been doing a lot of leg-based workouts (walking, etc). I'm sure my abs will be the last place to see it!
My behind! Most of my weight was/is in my rear end...so when I started looking like I had diaper booty (my pants were very baggy in the butt) I knew things were working for me!
The very first place I noticed was in my back, started to lose the "fat roll" look just over my hips...the most noticeable place, however, in 30lbs has been my legs, most likely because I'm doing a ton of walking. My pants legs billow around me!
I lose weight in my stomach area first, then my boobs and legs. It seems like my back fat likes to stick around the longest When I incorporate weight training, my arms respond amazingly well. My abs do too BUT there's always too, too much fat covering them to see all the hard work. It's very dissapointing. Ofcourse, this is a motivating factor to lose weight because I want to see my ab muscles. I want a flat stomach. I want it, I want it, I want it!
So I continue to eat well, keeping my cals low, exercising.

good2me...you sound just like me. I can feel all of these new muscles, not just abs but back, chest and arms as well as legs, but I still have fat covering them. I know the muscles are there, I can feel them, but no one but me can see them. I just keep telling myself ...one of these days the fat will finally come off and I will have all of these muscles to show off my hard work.
I only notice it through the waist and hip area. Sometimes I notice through the mirror , usually when I put my jeans on and the tape measure really tells me. My loss is usually in the waist and hip area before the chest. Weird!
