Good start Leigh! Good morning.
I think I'll do a 'do over' for yesterday. 1500 cals.

I work this evening and then (a favour for a coworker) I have to do day shift tomorrow. So my challenge for the next two days is planning!

Well since I screwed up and didnt have dinner last night (cept a banana), I woke up this morning RAVISHED..therefore i went to the deli downstairs and got an egg and salsa only taco. at least i feel better about my choice because there are so many bad things I could have done.

and since i have 5K in the morning, I cant run or workout today for fear of being too worn out to do well in the race...i will be glad when Monday gets here so i can get back on track!

Good luck with your 5K.

I had a Mars bar today and it's made me feel all tired and pooped! It's free day tomorrow and I'll be going out for dinner tonight. So I'm starting again Sunday/Monday and I'm going to figure out a plan for the next month or so...

Hello. Don't think I've posted in here before, but it's helpful to list food and plans for the day. I had a Kashi Honey Almond Flax bar for breakfast and a handful of nuts for a 10 o'clock snack. I worry about dinner, because it's a Friday night, but for lunch I think I might have some salad for lunch. We just got some fresh yummy red leaf lettuce. On my salads I usually put a little bit of cheese, garlic salt, sunflower seeds, egg, and some avocado if I have it. Don't know if I'll exercise today - it depends on our evening plans. I'd rather skip it and put in double time tomorrow I think. It would be nice to take a walk though. Hmm.

I'm doing 6-8 small meals a day as well as counting calories, so it's 1:00 and I've already had:
a serving of apple cheerios with skim milk, 2 whole graham cracker squares with peanut butter, a large greens/mushroom/green pepper/tomato/carrot salad with 2 tbsp of fat free ranch with bacon dressing (only 50 cals!), and a whole wheat and flax pita with 6 thin slices of chicken lunchmeat.
I'll probably workout around 2:00 and have a snack of trail mix around 3:00. Tonight I'm popping in frozen pizzas, so I'll probably have another salad and a couple slices of veggie pizza. Before bed, I'll have a low-cal Klondike ice cream sandwhich.

All that will stil give me about 250-300 calories to play around with. But since it's Friday, I want to leave that room in case I want another slice of pizza!

dinner tonight is some whole grain pasta with some chicken and a healthy choice fudgcicle for dessert.

I'm home for a fast sleep and then back by 7. I ate too much junk again! Tomorrow I'llbe too tired to care.
You all be good over the week end and I'll catch up later.
