Don't worry if you don't quite meet your goals each week. This is not a contest and we are not trying to keep up with anyone. Just remember, IT'S NO BIGGIE!! We just keep at it until we accomplish it!!

p.s...is your weight tracker accurate??

I reset it to what my new scale says....so I lost 10 pounds instead of 13....big deal....so I need another week...woopie..........so if I weigh 262 by the end of the week...I made my goal.....I have had 12 glasses of water already today...I should just bring the pc into the bathroom...and stay there....lol

Okey doke,
Well lets see..

My goal..

To finally start walking in the morning now that this stupid storm is gone.
To not drink a drop of pepsi the WHOLE week (so far so good)
To eat breakfast every day (thats a big deal for me, i NEVER used to eat breakfast)

Sound do-able? Boyfriend "SAYS" we are gonna get up tomorrow and go walking since the storm is gone...guess we'll see, its still raining off and on.

ugggg...now i feel bad...dang it...

let me explain a little more....I was reading capnhootys post and noticed her weight tracker... it says like 178lbs lost...130lbs past your goal (cant remember exactly)..after reading that she said today was her first day I thought she may have entered in the wrong numbers when signing up for the tracker and she may not have noticed it.

anyways I hope I didnt offend anyone....

ok...well I think that's my cue to take a little break from the message boards lol

Goals for this week...Exercise even though i won't be able to get to the gym...watch what i eat, mainly no snacking the bad foods and no eating past 9pm
Going to try short bursts of jogging while i go for my walk, since i won't be able to get to the elliptical and treadmill. I know week's almost over, but i'm leaving to spend time with my bf and it's for 5 days, so this will be my goal for the next 5 days. Also won't let period weight gain get me down. lol

Well, I didn't do it! I didn't lose the half of a pound this week... I gained instead. But I am going to KEEP ON working on it. I did continue to exercise though! Which is a good thing. 3 and 4 I am still working on. But I did cut back on my coffee a bit.. and I am using a smaller mug as well! And I am still thinking positive! So I am still on the right track! Hope everyone had better results this week.

Edit: Oops.. I forgot number 6 lol. I did stay in my calorie range except for the day I had pizza. That is a big no no! I won't do that again!

Ya'all go from Sunday to Sunday? I base everything on weigh in days.. which for me is Thursday to Thursday. Just easier that way I guess. But I will succeed either way!

Lightbulb One down!

Day one!
Accomplished!!!
YAY!
I got in my cardio.(40 mins) plus ab work
Drank way more water than I had planned.(8 pint plus bottles)
And I was all lo carb today.
What a great day!!
I will go to bed and hope that's the end of my potty runs for the day and forget that I have a headache.
I keep telling myself I'm peeing out fat and the headache is only sugar withdrawal.
I'm still working on what plan exactly I'm gonna follow. But will do low carb till I figure that out.
Also figured I must lose 1 lb per week to reach my goal by Sept. 1,2006.
I'm in a wedding and I will NOT be the fat bridesmaid!!
Not that there's anything wrong with that.......LOL

Now....check this out.
If you think 1 lb a week doesn't make a difference:
By Thanksgiving I'll be 12 lbs lighter
By Christmas I'll be 16 lbs lighter
By my Birthday I'll be 20 lighter. Present to self! YAY!
By Valentine's Day I'll be 25 lbs lighter......SWEET!!!
By the first day of Spring 30 lbs lighter....hippity hoppity!!
Mother's day will see a svelt 36 lbs lighter Mother!....grin
By the first day of Summer I'll be looking for a new bathing suit as I'll be 41 lbs thinner.....WooHoo!
And then.....drumroll please.... look at all the pretty maids all in a row.....and me at my goal
THIS is inspiration!!

Default Update...

Earlier this week I said: "my goals are to exercise (walk) every day -- preferably in the morning. AND to bring a healthy lunch and snacks so I don't end up eating at the vending machines!"

So far so good on both fronts. While the workouts have been variable in terms of speed and distance, I have walked every day. Tomorrow I have an early morning appt and will instead try to do it late in the day. I've done great on the food front all week -- at work and home.

I think next week the goals themselves will stay the same, but I'm going to try to increase the duration of my workout. I just started regularly exercising a couple of weeks ago, and am slowly working up... right now walking on the treadmill. I am now reliably walking 1 mile plus at each workout., but not yet walking for 30 min. I'm hoping in a month or so that this distance sounds very short, and that I am reliably doing 30 min plus workouts.

This week's goal: To have this baby. Now that I've said that, he'll probably decide to not only hold out to the due date, but go beyond just to keep me wondering when he's going to make an appearance. Will be nice to be done with all the cravings. Especially the sugar free popsicles. Already had 4 tonight and thinking about another. Don't know what it is, but the cold is so darned good.
