I read that cutting down caffeine can help a lot with period gains/PMS. I gain twice a months (ovulating and TOM) lucky me, but I'm finding it sooo hard to cut down on my tea . Nothing for it but to keep trying, eh?
What about decaffeinated teas, coffees, and sodas? I don't drink coffee or tea, but I don't notice a difference in taste between diet coke and caffeine-free diet coke
