June 2023 - Daily Accountability/Lifestyle Change - Everyone Welcome!
Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Check-In! Let's make it a great month!
I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
I was so tired when I posted last night that I actually had forgotten that I got a walk in earlier in the day.
Steps from yesterday: 9,454
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
One thing would really make dieting easier: Knowing what the results are actually going to look like. When we diet, we have to hold onto some image we have created in our own minds. Perhaps it is an image crafted from an old picture, or a memory of what we looked like so many years ago. Still, there is no tangible goal we can point to and say, 'That is what I will look like when I lose weight.' We have to live in hope of something we want, and hope can be scary. Ask God to help you. He will enable us to believe in what we imagine, even when we can't always see it in reality.
Good night! Watched a movie I recorded on TCM in March today. Watching Emergency on FETV now. Will watch two episodes of Adam-12 on FETV after that. 🌞😁🇺🇸😷
Good morning again! Had breakfast and did 2 miles Leslie Sansone. Have a load of laundry in the washer. Will go for a power walk and run errands in a few minutes. 😁🇺🇸😷🌞
1 John 3:2-3
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Sometimes we fool ourselves into believing that to be like Jesus means to act like Him or think like Him or pray like Him, and we ignore that we should try to look like Him, too. We don't know that Jesus was thin, but we can be confident that He was not overweight, because He preached moderation and denounced gluttony. He cared for Himself, and He called others to care for themselves, also. How wonderful it would be to be able to stand face-to-face with our Lord and to mirror Him in both His spiritual and physical perfection!
Today's thought: When people look at me, I want them to see Jesus!
Good afternoon! Went for two power walks today. Ran errands both times. The second time was to the thrift shop. I dropped off two bags of clothes and a box of hangers. Had lunch when I got home. 😁🇺🇸😷🌞
