week #19 - 16st 12.5lb - 2.5lb loss this week - 30.5lb loss total. I've now lost 1/3rd of what I need to lose to get to a BMI of 25, which is my (initial) target, which I'm pretty happy about. I have noticeably less of a "spare tyre" going on around my waist & I can get into a lot more trousers than I could before. |

week #20 - 17st 1lb - 2.5lb gain this week :( 28lb loss total. I seem to have gained 2.5lb this week, which seems unlikely, but there's no arguing with the scales I suppose. :( I went on my sailing course at the weekend & had a great time - I wasn't even bothered about being rather lumpy in the wetsuit. I am so unfit though that I could barely walk yesterday, my legs were so painful (which may possibly account for some of the weight gain?). but it's all good exercise & I'm so sedentary normally that anything that makes me a bit more active is a benefit. |

week #21 - 16st 9b - 6lb loss this week 34lb loss total. rather remarkably I appear to have lost 6lb this week! it seems like my rogue gain from last week disappeared once my sore legs stopped hurting so I presume they must have been retaining water or something while they healed. also, it's been pretty hot (for the UK) here so I haven't felt like eating very much. |

week #22 - 16st 11.5lb - 2.5lb gain this week 31.5lb loss total. I went sailing again yesterday & I'm aching in multiple places, so I've put on weight again, even though I was 3lb lighter yesterday, so go figure. :rolleyes: I'm feeling better generally for being a bit more active, even though I'm suffering for it right now! |
I got hungry a few times this week & snacked on my nemesis, bread, which probably didn't help. I will need to find an alternative that will fill me up without the calories. I tried a slimfast shake this week which was vile, so that won't be the alternative.

week #24 - 16st 7lb - 2lb loss this week 36lb loss total. back down to my pre-Covid weight now - I piled on a *lot* of weight over the lockdowns :( but making good progress - down another BMI point. :) |

week #26 - 16st 5lb - 2lb loss this week - 38lb loss total. 2lb loss this week. I'm now at six months losing weight, almost exactly 1.5lb/week over that time, which I'm pretty happy with - well done me. :) |

week #29 - 16st 2.5lb - 1lb loss over the last two weeks - 40.5lb loss total. just 1lb loss over the last two weeks. not as much as I would have liked, but still going in the right direction. over 40lb loss now. :) |

week #34 - 15st 13lb. my weight loss has plateaued a bit lately. with the weather turning colder I'm being drawn towards more substantial food & I need to figure out what I want to be eating to maintain some level of loss, even if it's a bit slower than it has been over the Spring/Summer. |

week #37 - 15st 13.75lb. a bit all over the place still. I put on a few pounds then lost most of it again, but I feel like I have my mojo back. :) I've set myself a 15st13lb target in the November Weight Loss Challenge thread, but hopefully I can do rather better than that. 15st7lb is my new target for the end of the year. |
