3 tips to give ya:
1. Pick a good diet. By a good diet I do mean eating healthy, but more importantly that you choose a diet that you will stick to. If you go on an extremely effective diet that works in 1 month but you don't like what you're eating then it's likely you wont finish that month. Whereas a diet that you like and stick to but gives you results over 6 months would be better. The first reason being that you can actually stick with it to see your results, and the second reason being that you can keep off the weight that you lost. You can do this first tip by going online and looking at different diets. Once you've found one that you like and think that you can commit to. Once you've done that look in your fridge, take out anything that doesn't comply with your diet and give it to charity. Don't say you'll start the diet tomorrow or you'll never start. Lastly go online for different recipes that are allowed in the diet and start cooking!
2. Exercise Habits. Exercise daily. Simple, but not easy. The first few weeks will be hard as you will start to get used to it. I'd recommend exercising in the morning so you can't put it off throughout the day. This could also help you shape your mornings well. Thinking just like in the terms of the diet, don't choose an exercise that is known to yield good results but instead focus on an exercise that you enjoy to do so that you stay commited to it. You can find out what exercises you might like by looking into your interests. If you like water then swim, like nature? Bike, hike, or run. Are you a gamer? Then buy just dance. Just get physical!
3. Don't Give Up. Saying it simply, don't give up. There are days that are harder than others, just make sure not to give up in the process. You may make a mistake during the diet but that doesn't mean just because you made one mistake that your whole diet has to fail. Don't make excuses. Work hard for the dream you are trying to reach. Don't give up.
Last tips: If you don't know where to start with a diet you can look into a keto diet. A keto diet is low intake of carbs and high intake of natural fats. Eventually throughout the diet your body will become a fat burning machine even when you're sleeping. Fix your sleep schedule if it's messed up. Not only does this make you prone not to having a regular schedule to make your exercise harder to stay consistent with, it can keep you up at night craving a midnight snack. One you know you should not be eating. Hope that helps you out!
