HAPPY NEW YEAR!
MERRY 8th DAY OF CHRISTMAS

Welcome to new folks. I have found that simply posting DAILY gives you time to reflect on the things you are doing and to see how others around you have solved similar problems We are NOT ALONE in this journey, which is a tough one. Many thanks to Diana for keeping this thread going for so long. It has made a real difference in my life.

Weigh In - 137.0 to start the year.
I see that Renpho scale has added SubQ and Visceral fat. So for skin fat it puts me in accptable (24.9%) and visceral at good (5, but 5 "what?"). It puts my husband at high (yellow) for the visceral fat which makes sense and seems to be motivating him some so he said he would go to the park with me and the dogs....well, we all know these things are useful for checking trends but accurancy may not be so much...........
Planning for today. Have some cleaning to do and getting my office ready for the new year. Plan to take the dogs to the local park and do some training and get in some steps. So much rain

.. Hope today will be better. For our trip the horseback ride on the beach got cancelled on us so I am looking for both some local options and plan to do this again during spring break (we have the grandkids for one week). Looking at either Williamsburg and the NC Outer Banks or the Sanibel Island area of FL (Fort Meyers).
Yesterday was 1367 in and 1453 out
Today is planned at 1345 Calories, 78 grams protein. 115 grams net carbs and 56 grams fat. Working on pushing up protein some as I am trying to build muscle now.
- Breakfast = Greek Yogurt, Kefir, Chia, Apple, Walnut
- Lunch = Roast beef, potatoes, onions,
- Dinner = Fennel, Onions, Carrots, Tempeh
Exercise goal is Tai Chi, Yoga stretches, Strength training, and 12,000 steps - working on posting "gratitude" - Today I want to reflect on 3 things for which I am grateful and start doing that regularly. I am grateful for my husband who loves me unconditionally. I am grateful for living in a safe neighborhood where I can walk any time of the day and not be scared. I am grateful for having a relatively good health and financial situation. ... definitely not wealthy but able to pay the bills.
