Good morning to all
WI up again so that is a total of 2.8lb gain for the week.....ok the holiday is over LOL, I have eaten all the goodies in the house now I can go back and concentrate on my eating plan. I am not good with temptations in the house.

Larry, the yogurt seems like it will work for me....I am so shocked! I have always always always hated the taste, that sour/tang/pungent flavor was a huge turnoff. But I used a bit of yogurt with live cultures from the brand siggi. After letting it drain most of yesterday I tasted it and it was very very mild and I have not even put any vanilla or sweetener in it yet.
Jules that is so scary to have a rock fly up and break a car window. That happened to me once but it did not break just cracked thankfully

So I just mixed up some 'boursin' cheese. I plan to use it for beef stroganoff this week with only a moderate amount of egg noodles and no mushrooms. I know it is not really a stroganoff without the mushrooms but I just don't like the texture of them.

back later for more personals

Good eve to all
have to say today was so far off plan I did not even try to count.

However I have embraced homemade yogurt with added granola, for something that I hated for as far back as I can remember this was so good. I am converted

night

Good morning all,
147.2 this morning
Down from 148.8 yesterday

So, this is what I like about writing my weight on a calendar every day. I’m looking at January 1, I was 153.1, now that this decade has become “normal” I forget where I was sometimes. This is motivation to get back to my routine.

Hard to believe it is the last day of 2018. We made it. Grateful to have you all in my life, one of my goals is to better about daily habits like posting, journaling, meditation, drinking water, exercises.

Happy New Year wishing you all the best

Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Good Morning. Down to 137.2 (back to where I should be ) and back from my vacation. Will catch up later. Need to plan today. Waking up slowly. We did not sleep so well on vacation and caught up last night after we got home. Will catch-up with with personals and planning later. Good to DROP WEIGHT during a 3 day vacation is all I can say! I did learn the hard way though [no diarreah or anything] that when you go for a long time not eating bread, a hamburger bun can absolutely tear up your insides. OMG. Reflux, hiccups, cramps........had to take Ranitidine and Tums, both of which I don't need to take anymore. ........... It was a good lesson, I will give it that.

Nancy- glad the homemade yogurt was good for you!

Good morning to all
WI down .4 I looked back at my journal and am down from last year I think??? since I did not record the last 4 days of the year and the next entry was Jan 2 2018 so on Jan 2 2019 I will post those weights. But I have been so far off plan this past vacation week it is embarrassing.
Can I say enough how much I am enjoying the instant pot?? Tonight orange chicken with extra veggies, no added sugar and used fresh squeezed orange juice over cauliflower rice. Oh and even DH is loving the mild flavored yogurt that I made so that is a keeper for sure.
Right now I am going through an old book I printed with low fat crockpot recipes that give the points from the old weight watchers programs. I had to have downloaded it from some where but darned if I remember. Then if I find some I like I will create them in the instant pot.
Jen I so understand the eating right now, you emotional eat I not sure what my triggers are really but it is usually later in the evening and could be just old fashioned boredom on my part. I am actually looking forward to going back to work and a normal routine.
granny so glad you are back to your new normal. I know what you mean about having a flour product. I ate a philly cheese steak sandwich yesterday and boy did I regret that. I don't know if it was that or the wonderful yogurt but the PF has been working overtime.

back later need to plan out the day

GrannyNancy I remember when I was a kid hiccups were funny, now they’re annoying and sometimes painful. Congrats on getting right back on your plan
