Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

I was not feeling all that great today. I skipped lunch and only ate part of my dinnner before feeling sick again.

[B]JENDIET I was surprised/shocked by gaining that much in a short time. I’m hoping some of it was water weight, time will tell.

Snow mama, hi welcome

Zmaus, I also had a little bit of an upset tummy

Diana, hi. Glad you had good day.

So my block of my ex didn't work. He ended up texting me "k" and I told him about James, to which he responded then I asked about our boys and he ignored me (why I blocked him in first place!)

1515 cs for the day

Smile APRIL 2018--At Last!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome Snowmama! I hope that you and Zmaus and everyone else here have lots of success with your goals.

My diet was a little "off" again, yesterday. I think I was under calories again. "Off foods" include a couple packs of gummies and some red meat twice (crumble burger) and maybe 6 sips of chocolate almond milk. Oh, I made some garlic bread with sourdough bread, EVOO, and a clove of garlic. It was hot. I never made that before!

I did the usual hike in the neighborhood and the usual in house exercises.

225/208.8/205 I am very happy to have achieved my third 5 lb. goal.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Overall, it was a good week and I got rid of some of the water weight I gained with the oysters and then Easter. I was also able to do some longer workouts this week. Praising the Lord!

Last night: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise

Calories for yesterday: 1535 +
Weigh In: 189.2
Down: 1.2 pounds

Have a Blessed day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

April 7

Ephesians 4:1-2
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.

Temper: It seems that the longer you diet, the shorter it gets. Keep-ing control of our temper is one of the harder parts of dieting. We feel everyone has some word of advice on what we ought to do differently, that no one really understands what we're going through, and no one appreciates all that we do without. It's no wonder we find ourselves a little short-tempered at times. That's when we need to turn to the source of all patience and peace. If Christ is allowed to rule in our hearts, we will find a new depth of tolerance and forbearance.

Today's thought: Losing weight is no excuse for losing patience!

Good morning all,
142.3 this morning

Trying to tighten up a couple bad habits I see creeping in. Definitely wasn't drinking enough water. Slacking on exercises like planks and Dumbbells.

Thanks for all the good wishes with regards to our new addition Willie dog. He seems to be adjusting really well. He got me up and walking yesterday. It's amazing how quickly bad habits want to creep in.

Hope everyone is doing well. Going to the library, see you later.

Hope everyone has a great day

Good morning to all
WI up 1.4 to 167.4, but we did go out to a Mexican restaurant last night and I knew better...truly I did.

So tomorrow is the day I will measure then start my weight training on Monday. I finally feel focused and ready. I am only going to weigh in every few days just to keep myself in check and continue to monitor portions and choices. I know you have all heard this a zillion times from me. so sorry for the continued repeating record LOL

Welcome snowmama

I hope granny is doing well with the testing this weekend, she and the dogs have worked so hard.

Today we are not going to be doing a whole lot just errands the weather is pouring down rain so may just stay in and paint, do a bit of cleaning who knows. I will be pushing a lot of water today to get rid of dinner last night....also there is a bit of an elimination problem (oops tmi)

Everyone have a super duper day

nancylmrn No worries about repeating your affirmations and plans. Been there, done that, and still doing it. Keep pushing forward and doing what you need to do. If we had it all figured out . . . . we wouldn't be here.

Diana, yay for getting rid of the water weight

Nancy, just don't forget your also body building with weight training...some measurements might go up a little with the muscle building, weight may go up a little as muscles swell too.

Keli, we all have bad habits we constantly swat at

Teri, yay on making Goal!!! Bread sounds good.

So I have not got this room organized, kids are coming home tomorrow (yay!!!). Scale said 195.8 again...I hope to see more movement before my cycle gaining starts.

my mom was also crying to me she not losing any weight but she's in a tight size 13 at 220lbs...she's 5'9. I think it's the way we are built...she has HUGE Bodega though...think FF or GG. I don't know how she walks ..

Ok, here's my food for today so I can stay accountable and on plan

Breakfast:

Pc toast, 1 tsp butter, 1 egg, organic tea, 1 tsp honey, 1/4 c milk : 201 cs

Lunch: mozzarella stick: 70 cs

Dinner: 6 oz shrimp, 1 tsp butter, sugar snap peas,190 cs

Snacks
Coffee, 2 tsp sugar, 1/4 c milk, grapefruit cup 161 cs

Total 622. Not 500 but it was harder today.

Also, took ex off auto reject list AND talked to him a little. He lost Seth's shoe and called him Kenny the whole conversation....plus I got to talk to my babies...

So I talked to my mom who is the exercise queen and she said JUST WORK through the pain and eventually it will stop hurting

So I did the plank on my wrists for 20s. I did 30 alternate leg/arm raises and 10 reverse crunches. Exercise is 10x harder on low Cal days, but I did it!

I’m struggling today, but made my way through it. Just telling myself I’m posting here and that is the end of eating for the day. I had a little over 1300 calories today. This morning I weighed 196.6 so heading in the right direction.

Zmaus

flower: I get needing to step away from 3FC, I've done it several times. I plan to stick around for a while so I hope to see you when you come back.

Jen: Shared custody is awful. I used to get so much anxiety about my Son being away from me for long periods of time. I remember the 1st weekend, then the 1st week, then 2 weeks, then almost a month! Ugh! It sucks and I freaked out/cried but it goes by fast. I'm so glad my Son is older now, it really got to me when he was little. I'm remarried and met my current husband on eHarmony. We have been together a little over 10 years, married for 3.

I took today off the gym, my legs are aching. I work tomorrow and will resume exercise Monday. My back is okay. Not perfect but doable.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good Morning, I am back and my computer is back

180.2 New low

LOL I lost my password and it took forever to get in then I got kicked out and had to start over with my post.

So Beau and I passed our cadaver dog re-certification testing. Only 2 of the 4 who started passed the test. I am very very relieved since he is the only cadaver dog on our team right now.

We got our first glimpse at the new job postings and they are 2-3 pay grades lower than my current position and represent far simpler work than what I actually do. If I take one, I lose the opportunity to apply for other jobs for 6 months. I am honestly not sure I am going to do that. I have 25 weeks of severance, 20 days of PTO left (which would be paid out), and we have yet to get our official 21 day notice. I am so angry that this is being done to folks like me (and there are quite a few) with nearly 25 years invested in the company and not close enough to Medicare to make it there on cobra.

See some new faces and will take some time to read the posts and "get to know" folks. I think I will just have to catch up on personals this week. While the computer was salvaged, I have to reinstall and set up all my programs etc.

Well, I bought my very first "shapewear". It is a camisole top that helps with the loose stuff around my midriff and the pannus (the hanging lower belly). We will see how it does this summer.
