Thanks for the welcome and congrats, bloomin! I also don't weigh during TOM so I totally get you! I just started intuitive eating so I probably won't be weighing as often, since I'm sure my weight will bounce quite a bit, but we'll see!

Didn't think I'd make my goal this week because of the TOM/bloating, but just managed to pee out (sorry) enough to make my goal this morning and I can see I've also lost some fat most likely! I now weigh 165.4, woohoo! Next week's goal is 165 or less. I can't wait to have my first official 5 lbs lost! |

I have no idea what I weigh because I tried to start IE and somehow ended up on a 3-day binge. I doubt very seriously that I am anywhere near where I was on 3/21. :( I have moved to weekly WIs, so I will face the music on Sunday. |

Hello!! Lost my first official 5 lbs, one week before the end of my seasonal deadline! :cheer:
I feel very proud of my first 5 lbs here. I'm also celebrating because my BMI just dropped to the 27's! :D:angel: I've really been such a good girl lately. I did some new measurements. It seems like I've lost a lot, which makes me wonder if there was excess water involved last time. I did try to measure exactly the same, but there is a chance I suck at this too. I lost 1 inch from my hips, 2 inches from the waist, and 1 inch off the bust. I never thought I'd be happy about my bust shrinking, but I'm so glad to be a 34DD instead of a 34 DDD. It opens up way more options when it comes to bra styles because it's a "normal" size. The waist shrinking that much is a little shocking, but I'm so glad! |

I have yet to begin measuring. I don't have a tape measure anyway, and I KNOW I would suck at it. Once I'm not super embarrassed by myself, I will get my fiance to do it. I am also a busty girl, so I totally know what you mean! It would be nice to be able to pick up those $20 bras in Target instead of having to spend $$$ at Maidenform or Soma! |

And bloomin, I know exactly what you mean! I can smoosh my fat into a size 8 pair of jeans if it's high-waisted. So sad. I would love to be able to wear regular size 8 jeans, but my hips and butt are determined to stay in a 10!!! |

Bloomin, miracle, and brd: Thank you for the well wishes! Married life is...exactly like unmarried life so far. Lol. I fell off the radar for a bit because I got frustrated with not losing weight and got a little busy/lazy and stopped counting calories for a few weeks. Looks like everyone has been killing it in my absence though!
brd, I nearly missed your entire run with us in the 160s! You're sooooo close to escape. Also, squeezing into a size 8? My envy is so real! At 5'8 and 145 (my lightest weight a few years ago) I was barely making it into a size 10. I am exceedingly squishy though. Lolol Bloomin , 5lbs gone!!! Wooooooooo. That's badass. Little milestones really make the difference in keeping motivation alive. Congrats! Jandg, welcome. The 160s is like jello, we've always got room. My weight today: 161.4 ...so at least my time off wasn't a total backslide. :) |

Ugh, today I got on the scale and got 166.4, I'm not sure how my weight has gone up so much in just two days. My bf made me dinner last night and I suppose it was pretty salty, but maybe that's an excuse xD. The funny thing is he gave me leftovers so I have enough chicken and asparagus for two more nights and since I'm too busy with an evidence based research paper to be cooking...so that is what I'll be eating! :lol::dizzy: At this point I need to lose almost 2 lbs by next week so I'm stressing a bit. Going on calorie lock down, making sure I am 100% never over eating, and probably won't be drinking this weekend unless I see a lb drop by Thursday :/. |
My lord my life has been a mess on research paper brain.
Yesterday I thought it was Tuesday for half the day (including when I wrote the post above) and then I must have switched back to Wednesday without realizing it. I wore my bra I usually only wear mon-tues (I'm a nerd) and took my birth control from the totally wrong hole. Anyway, as far as my scale goes the numbers were stuck AGAIN =_=. My stupid scale needs to be reset every week it seems, it gets stuck on numbers. Anyway, so I reset my scale and I got 165 lbs =_=. I probably didn't even weigh 166.4 lbs yesterday. :mad::mad: I thought it was so weirdly impossible I was gaining that much water weight out of nowhere. I should have tried resetting it yesterday. I forgot about it. Saturday night I got 166.2 lbs which I thought was really weird, then I got 166.2 lbs Sunday morning...which I was like no f***ing way that's possible so I reset it. Same thing happened again. :devil: my demonic scale... So yeah I'm having a drink this weekend, you best believe it. :hat: |
Tinneranne: Congrats on your marriage! My wedding date is set for September 2018, and it seems so far but so close! We're already living together, so I doubt married life will seem vastly different from unmarried life for me, too!
I just joined 3FC not too long ago, so that is why it seems like you've missed me! I also have been struggling massively with binging lately (I have BED), so I likely am not leaving this thread anytime soon. I am pretty squishy at the moment, too, so you don't want none of this! :lol: bloomin: are you in grad school? What are you studying? I'm starting a community psychology doctoral program in the fall, and I would love to have someone to talk to about losing/maintaining weight while in school. I have yet to accomplish this! Sorry you're having such a struggle with the scale. That sounds SO annoying. Is there a gym or someplace nearby where you can weigh instead of using your own? |
