I'm a 10/10 today! Usually Saturdays are my "bad" days but I kind of did that last night with no damage at the scale this morn. I've already started laundry and plan on working in garden fter lunch. A friend is dropping by with her son to collect seeds for a school project :)
I'm so glad I joined 3FC! Even if no one reads a post I make, it gives me a place to log my journey and read about others' journeys. The support is fantastic, and I really think it has contributed to my success thus far. Every day I am more and more excited about my progress and commitment to my new lifestyle and finding the 'old' me. Have a fantastic weekend everyone! |

I didn't lose any weight on my vacation but I didn't gain any either. I consider that a success.
10/10 today. Ready to get back to my schedule. I am adjusting my goal this month to 270 lbs since I am still sitting at 272 lbs. The vacation was definitely worth it though! |
After not feeling well the last 4 days, I am feeling like myself again. I didn't move a lot this weekend except a light cardio workout yesterday. I kept my diet in check though, which was definitely hard with just resting and not doing too much. I am 9/10 today, would be 10/10 but still trying to get back in the swing of things.

I'm a 10/10 today. I was up 0.4 lbs today after three days of holding steady. I was actually "good" yesterday and kept my calories on plan, but I had too many carbs (potatoes and pasta). TMI, but I think it's clogged up the plumbing. I hula hooped last night for less than five minutes....OMG, it is tough. But I'll be at it again tonight.

I am about a 5/10. I am feeling bad about myself because I had a hard weekend, ate too much and drank too much. It was fun to be with friends, but I am worried I am going to fall back into that behavior in a more permanent way. I also feel guilty and that makes me want to eat sweets.
I ate cake for lunch, but now I am going on a bike ride and I am going to try to get the right attitude and commitment back on the ride. Update: After my bike ride, I was still feeling a little down emotionally, but my body felt good. My husband had a chocolate muffin waiting for me that he got at Perkins to be nice. I looked at it when I sat down and thought, "I am going to eat this whole thing." and I felt resigned to do it. While I was eating the muffin, I thought about how I what I wrote on here, and how I would feel after I ate the whole thing. I decided that my changes could start again and that I didn't have to keep eating just to eat. I ate half the muffin, felt satisfied, and decided to call a win for my small victory. |
Did Body Combat after work even though I reeeeally wanted to just go home and sleep. Complemented by a day with no cheats or slip ups. Whoop! :broc:

I'm a 9/10 today on purpose....it's pub night and I love my grilled wings. So I make sure my lunch is lower calorie than usual (I always eat a 300-calorie breakfast on work days). I'm a 10/10 for attitude though.....I met my monthly goal today after dropping that last 0.2 lb this morning.

hi all! apologies for being MIA, have been busy with work, travel (and the build) but what is clear is that my weight loss stalls whenever i don't post on the forums but has hovered between 142 and 144 during the time I've been away.
commitment probably at 4/10 so great to see all your great results and familiar names on the thread! :) |

I started off 10/10 but ate a Little too much fried tater/pepper/onion with my burger tonight. The spicy burger had feta mixed in it and was topped with feta cheese/mayo served up with garden tomatoes/onions and my own dill spears.

Who am I kidding. Was totally 4/10 yesterday and 6/10 today. It's like I can't escape the badness of all the good foods at events!! But at least am improving!!

I am a 10/10 today :) I had a 0.6 lb loss for the week, so I'm happy about that seeing as I got a little sidetracked. I have a nice weekend planned with no temptations lurking. Have a great weekend all!

I'm a 10/10 today...auction was a bust so came home to do garden stuff. One if our apple trees actually produced edible fruit, so I'm going to start picking here shortly. Autumn has arrived in Ohio!

Today is my Carb Day, so it's easy to be a 10/10 on eating. I hope to get out to the walk park later today to walk a couple of miles but my commitment is not high on that, maybe a 6/10. |

This weekend I've been about a 7/10. Went out on Friday night (crepes) and Saturday night (indian) with friends, and had a couple of brunches too... have been running around trying to visit all the different showrooms for the house to make final decisions on this and that. Been fun but exhausting :yawn: Weather's getting nice and warm here though, so looking forward to walking a lot more after work and on the weekends :) Hope everyone's going well! |
10/10 today, finally! And that is after a fairly hectic weekend with a few fiascos. My old a/c window unit finally up and died in a shower of sparks and smoke and screeching. I'm just glad there was no fire. Normally this would send my anxiety into overdrive but strangely I'm taking it in stride. I always just feel better when the cooler fall weather starts, I just feel calmer and more clear headed and energetic. I have cleaned out my whole house, reorganized all my closets, threw away loads of stuff, gave boxes of more stuff to goodwill. Feels like a new start and it is wonderful!
Still dealing with some medical issues, have an appointment scheduled with a rheumatologist to be tested for lupus, due to positive ana test, high c reactive protein test, etc, but that won't be until February the doctor is so full up. But really, other than some fatigue and other aggravating symptoms, I really don't feel sick or bad. Nothing to keep me from normal functioning right now. I finally officially joined the gym after some trial memberships and guest passes and for the first time in a long time I feel motivated to actually go and exercise. I woke up this morning and prepared my breakfast/lunch/snacks for the day at work, and have a rotisserie chicken and veggies in the fridge for supper so I'm set. It just feels so easy when I am feeling good mentally. I don't have to struggle because I just WANT to do it. I think my biggest challenge is how to keep myself on track when I am not feeling my best. That time will come again and I want to be prepared for it. |
On another note, while cleaning out my bathroom closet this weekend I dropped a big heavy box on my scale and cracked it clean down the middle so had to toss it. Maybe it was a sign lol. I don't think I will replace it just now.
There is a scale in the bathroom at my gym that I can use for monthly weigh ins. hmmm... |

I'm a 10/10 today but I feel yucky. The pipes are blocked (holding on to more and more each day) and I was pretty nauseous this morning. Nausea went away after shower, but the pipes are still blocked. Thinking of going to CVS after work for some Miralax.....never used it but willing to give it go to get things back to "normal."

Congrats aml0017 on joining the gym AND cleaning out your house. I always feel so much better mentally after doing that too. I am in the process myself, although it is taking a bit.
I am 10/10 today. It's been a great week and month really for my weight loss journey. I think next month is going to be a little rougher, have lots going on and just hoping that I make it through without too many hiccups. Hope everyone has a good week :cheer3: |
I'm 10/10 on the eating, but I'm still not having any "movement," therefore I am still up 2.4 lbs from Friday's low (which is when movement started to crawl and then come to a standstill). I resorted to an OTC remedies after school yesterday. Lots of noises, but no parade after 16+ hours. I know it takes time, but I have never had this problem before. I bought some fiber gummies to add to my diet to prevent this from happening again.
TMI I know, but hubs thinks it's funny and it is not to me. I'm miserable....backache, headache, gas, etc., etc. I know some of you have probably gone through similar experiences when making a dietary change. Woe is me, but I will be singing "Alleluia" when I get some relief :) Anyway, have a great day everyone! |
Have you tried the miralax yet prairie? it does work but you should take it sooner rather than later because it takes a while to be effective. Hope you get some relief soon, I hate that feeling too.
About 7/10 today myself. I was a bit disappointed in myself yesterday because after such a great morning I kind of went off track with my eating after 3 pm. I didn't go to the gym either :(. I don't know what happened, I just lost my mojo somewhere after lunch. It wasn't a total loss, I ate some not so healthy stuff but I didn't binge. Also, I was pretty busy up until bedtime with housework. Cleaned my bathroom closet, bathed the dog, walked the dog. Just trying to go with the flow and keep going instead of giving up due to one small slipup (as i have done in the past). |
Thanks raining! Per my previous post that 10/10 didn't last all day but I'll take it. I look forward to 10/10 all day everyday (someday!).
I find when I have a lot going on, I eat less, just for being so busy and preoccupied, and tired. The worst thing for me is to not have anything going on, then all I want to do is eat. You can get through it! |

PrairieQueen, I suffer from the same thing, and nothing works real well on me (not even fiber, sometimes that makes it worse, and stool softeners don't seem to work at all) EXCEPT Smooth Moves Tea, which I picked up at Walmart. I can drink that at night and the next morning (and then usually again in the afternoon), things will clear out. If the Miralax doesn't work, give Smooth Moves Tea a try. Just follow the directions on the box.

Today I am a 10/10. The 10/10 on eating comes easy for me. The 10/10 on exercise is always a little trickier. I haven't wanted to leave the house to go to the gym because I have 2 out of 3 pets at home who are having issues and I haven't wanted to leave them. Of course, that doesn't explain why I haven't attempted some kind of exercise at home, so today with the start of the new month, I'm going to make sure I exercise some way, somehow! :exercise: |

PrairieQueen, I just looked at the box and the name of the brand is Traditional Medicinals and the name of the tea is Smooth Move. I found it among the other teas, but oddly I had to search for it on the shelf because it just wasn't jumping out at me, lol! :dizzy:

I'm a 10/10 today! Totally back to normal and have a lot of "farm" things planned....pickling pears English style, making freezer potato soup (got to figure that one out first), making squash and pumpkin purée for freezer, and digging potatoes and more garden clean up if it stops raining. I don't know what I'm fixing for dinner yet, but it'll be good :)

I'm a 9/10 on eating today.....going out for dinner to a diner :) We are changing our routine from going to the "fancy" pub and trying to a new but old train car diner in the next town. It shut a few years ago and is being reopened under a new owner. I'm hoping I feel motivated when I get home to do a little "work."
