  • Happy Sunday morning everyone

Today I'm 10/10. Plan for this coming week is to up my water intake. Will check in again in the morning!
  • Yay on the steps yesterday, Leah, and have a great time ring shopping!

I am a 10/10 on eating today but only about a 6/10 on exercising. I'm really dragging today. I ran out of probiotics a couple of days ago and I think it's starting to affect me.
  • Hi All

I'm not feeling very "committed" today, so I thought I would post...

Something about Sundays I guess... They always seem to be the perfect day to say... "Well... Since it's Sunday... I might as well just eat what I want... AND I'll get back on track on Monday..."

Well... we all know how that usually goes... lol...

I have some friends coming over... and I'm so not feeling like cooking anything... I'm just going to offer to get some take out I guess... Now I just need the resolve not to order pizza... or Chinese, which for some reason I'm really craving (and not "healthy" stuff either... lol...) I should really order Japanese... this way I can get Sashimi and not have any rice and still be "good"
(I know, I still think in terms of "good" and "bad"... but that's a whole other story...)

    Alright... wish me luck...
  • Lovemylife, I don't know how I missed your post earlier. Water really does make a difference in weight loss, so good plan! Drink up!

TripSwitch, I have my fingers crossed for you to make the best decisions! Japanese sounds delicious!

I got to the gym, when I really wasn't feeling like it, so I'm pretty proud of myself today!
  • New week, new start. I'm fully committed today and am doing up a food plan for the week (and sticking to it!). There shouldn't be any major obstacles in my way this week so I can give things my best shot.

    Good luck everyone!
  • SOOOOOoooooooo.... Yesterday wasnt so great, my food was ok but I didnt work out and today my bathroom is getting ripped out and having a new one put in which means I'm sleeping on my sisters couch for 2 nights. To me that just sounds horrible, my sister and her husband both smoke. They smoke in their kitchens but they dont realise that it escapes to around the whole house. I find it really hard to sleep in a smokey house (when im sober).

So the next few days might be a bit awfull, but I need to loose this 4lbs by the weekend.
  • Yesterday was my first day on my new plan and it was totally fine, although I tend to be a night owl/sporadic sleeper and i'm eating roughly 6-hourly to keep myself going, so had my meal at 7pm... but between 10am and 1am was really quite hard. I ended up crunching on extra strong mints until 1am when I could eat again. Went straight to sleep after that. Had a banana this morning and waiting for 1pm to roll around so I can grab some lunch. Whilst still mildly craving the bad stuff, I very much enjoy the feeling of being in control, which I hope will continue to be stronger than the temptations.

Thinking of you Scots! Got fingers crossed for you, you can do it! Think of the lovely shiny bath you can have on thursday...
  • We ended up putting the ring shopping off until today since we were given today off.

9/10 My commitment is to smarter choices and having fun. We're probably going to go out for lunch while shopping. This morning I plan to go for a walk to get some exercise in because I think once we're both burnt out on shopping we'll just want to spend the rest of the day on the couch.
  • 8/10 for me today. I need to try to stay focused!!
  • Unicorn, great job in planning out the weekly menu! It should be a success!

Scotsgal, that sounds awful, but I know you'll survive it! Eating unhealthy foods certainly won't fix things and would only make things worse, and your resolve seems awfully strong, so I know you'll get through this! Maybe go outside and take walks to exercise and get away from the smoke, and daydream about your new healthier body!

MsTibbles, good job in distracting yourself and making minor substitutions until it's time to eat! The beginning of a new diet is always the hardest. Once your body gets used to not having as much food, you'll be fine! And if you find you don't seem to be adapting to it, just switch it up a little until you find a way to make it work for you!

Leah, sounds like a great day!

Slashnl, I hope you've been having a successful day!

I have done well today! I got my exercise in, picked up more vitamins from the store, have been drinking plenty of water, on plan eating. It's all good!
  • Thanks everyone, luckily last night the plumber managed to get the toilet in and flushing. So I stayed at home last night. Today I have a meeting with uni and then off to see my flat which is a lot of walking around. I am hoping I can burn off some of what I may have waisted yesterday and Sunday.

Sadly the new bathroom consists of taking my bath out and a big double shower in so no more baths for me. But I can easily now just sit on the floor and enjoy getting rained on instead.

Hope you are all doing well.
  • Hello Everyone! I'm new to this thread but I could use some motivation to exercise so here I am.

Today I'm a 6/10 which is pretty standard for me. Yesterday I was probably 2/10 but I somehow managed to get in 9,000 steps (just shy of my 10k daily goal) so I was thrilled with yesterday's outcome. I'm trying my best to do at least a mile (about 2400 steps) before breakfast. And that's where I'm headed now...

    @LovelyLeah - so exciting!
  • 9/10 It's a good day!! I don't work until later this afternoon so I'm going to relax until then and do some ring shopping online. Had a lot of success yesterday so now I know what direction to go in.
  • Good Morning Everyone

    Treasa

Today I'm a 10/10. This thread helps me to stay committed. Have a great day everyone!
  • Such a great idea. I have recommitted myself to doing EFT to control my cravings and stay on track. Yesterday, I was tired and tempted to buy candy to give myself a boost, but instead I came home and tapped. Craving gone-number on the scale just a bit lower. I count this as a success and a move in the right direction. My commitment is a 10.
