Default Just started 3 weeks ago.

Does anyone notice a plateau followed by weight gain the week before AND the week of their menstral cycle? Its really depressing to me because I've been trying really hard last week (week before my cycle) I lost absolutely nothing. This week I've gained about 4 lbs (week of my cycle.)

A stall, definitely. Yes. You're only at it 3 weeks so be patient. You'll begin to lose but notice that your cycle will cause your weight to flux for a week or two but it's usually just water weight.

Hi Crystinajo,

I'm currently experiencing the same thing with my cycle causing the scale to go up instead of down. I usually try not to weigh myself the first couple of days of my cycle. You're doing great so don't worry

Yup! And let me say, "Get used to it!" It happens every month.

If you're going to lose 100 pounds, you're going to go through it a lot. On the bright side, you get to down after it's over.

Luckily...I lose weight during TOM...well I did last time I was exercising and eating right. Followed by a huge plateau right after TOM...
