Very Strange...And Inconsiderate
|
Yeah,
That seemed like a very lowsy shower. Hope the family is all cooled of, summer :) Angie- I can't belive you're cutting you hair!! NOT that I'm discouraging you ( I would never do that) it's just so sudden ad daring! I say you go girl! Well i feel compeled to share a secret with all of you. I decided that if I get my stomach flat enough by the end of September, that I'm gonna pierce my belly button AHHHH!!! It was an impulsive decision which stemmed heavily from a group of 14 year olds! It's something i would never do but then i decided if I ever et the confidence to bear my midriff why not go all the way! It really motivates me. In fact I'm gonna post a picture for you all To be Continued... |
Alright Dips!!! I would love to have a peirced belly button but I am scared of needles so that would never happen. I did decide that if I ever got up the nerve to have a tummy tuck when I can learn to maintain then I would tell them that when they are making a new belly button then they might as well peirce it while I am out. I wonder if they would do that? haha. My daughter who is going to be 12 in October wants hers done. I might do it for her birthday gift. She is going to be a little hotty!! I am so in trouble in a couple of years. I can tell already that she is going to be the same kind of teen I was. AAHHH!!!!
Kempy, How was your vacation? We are trying to get a campground either in Jacksonville(2nd choice) or St. Augustine(oceanfront camping spots) that is what I want. Then the kids can go right on the beach first thing in the morning and look for seashells while I stay with the dogs but can still see them. The dogs arent allowed on the beach. We are going to be there for 8 days. I told Jay last night we should take a day and drive to your town and go to the gym and ask for Kempoy. Would that surprise you if I just walked into your work? Do you think you would know it was me if I didnt tell you first? I am bad with recognizing people. I know I have walked past people that I went to school with and not known it. Noelle,Where are you? Did you have a good weekend? Sandy, Come back!!!! I miss you!!! Chris, How did your family reunion turn out? I hope you had fun!! Summer, That was some shower, huh? We throw ours like you described. I would have been so mad too. Tonya, How are you doing? Did you have a good anniversary? *WINK* GEM, How are you doing? |
I just cut a couple of inches off my hair after my shower!! I cant back out now!!!
|
I hope this works...
Now if I did this right you should see a picture of my belly the first time I lost weight I have since put about 15 back on but when I get down to this again it's belly piercing time!! |
Sometimes I can't beliee my stomache looked like this. I hate that I lost control and got all pudgy again. I stare at this photo for motivation. I will get this back!!
Later Gals! |
WOW Dips!!! You have a nice flat stomache. I would love to have mine look that nice!!!! You will lose those last 15 in no time I bet especially with your killer workout instructor.
|
HELLO???
Where is everyone today? I am bored. :callme:
|
Hey ladies~~I'm here. I don't know what's up with my screwed-up internet provider. We've been having glitches all weekend with this Road Runner cable 'service' and I've had problems downloading my emails both at work and at home. It's ticking me off! You would think that with the amount we pay for cable service they'd actually give us good service  . Anyways, I'm around, just busy with work and all...it's a short week for me.
WooHoo Dips! That's awesome. If I had a tummy like that I'd show it off too. A bellybutton ring huh? Go for it! Angie, you're so funny. I don't know if I'd be so bold as to cut a chunk off of my own hair, but I wouldn't hesitate to let the stylist do it. As for Brit growing up to be the kind of teenager you once were....oh the horror! I imagine the same things about my son. I think I'd get even more gray hairs once he reaches puberty. Thank God that's not for another 10 years or so. Summer, that shower did sound like a bummer. A bunch of inconsiderate people I think as far as time goes. Why state a time for a party if you're going to be 2 hours behind schedule? I guess there are those sorts of people anywhere you go, because I have quite a few relatives who would pull the same thing--that's why whenever I go to their parties, I turn up 2 hours later than it's supposed to start, just in time for the real beginning. Has Kempy come back from vacation yet? Hope you had a great time. Do tell us about your romantic adventures in FL. I'll catch up more with you ladies later on, I gotta get back to work while I'm still in the mood. Take it easy gals. |
Angie: You are VERY DARING  with your hair!!! I can't wait to see the finished product!
Dips: You and your belly are amazing!!! :strong: I never had a flat stomach like that, even when I was a size 10. If I had a flat tummy like yours, I would definitely accessorize it! Noelle: Sorry you are having computer problems. :( Are you feeling healthier now? GEM: How's it going? Hey everybody else! How's it going? How's the challenge? Tomorrow will be my daughter's "Bus safety inservice." She will learn all about riding on a school bus for the first time. As of the other day, she informed me that she will not be riding a bus. Boy is she in for a rude awakening!!! I have to start getting ready for school soon. What a freaking drag...:yikes: I'm just so not into this. I don't have as much preparation as I did last year since as far as I know I will have the same grade and room. I have to edit and type up my first day of school information letter, which is like 7 pages long...and probably doesn't get read. I have to call everyone that has registered already and verify that they are indeed planning on being in my class this year. I have a lot of crap to do. I am not ready for summer to be over. Basically, I had a fabulous two weeks of vacation, but the rest of the summer sucked because of all of the rain. I haven't been in the sun in eleven days. My tan is fading. I know teachers who have already been to school, but I am holding off for one more week. This is so depressing. :tired: Summer :flow2: |
Good Morning Ladies! I feel like I"ve been gone forever. Had a long, intense weekend, but happy we were so busy. Yesterday was our 3 month anniversary of being online wiht our adoptoin agency. Went by wihtout a teary-=eyed moment for me. That's good. I'm achey from a family reunion, where I kicked my own butt, and plrayed hard with the kids. Man, that was great, to not be the fat girl on the side lines. BUt I was tired later on. We were wiped out yesterday, achey, the whole thing. Today, still achey But still wouldn't trade that day with the kids for anything. I've never been the kid of person to play a softball game int he steamy hot sun, and usually, when I was fat, would make a ton of excuses why i'd play 'next time', and never do it. BUt I was falling all over myself to play this year, and it was sweet.
I ate pretty bad yesterday. CHris was sick, and I had takent he day off to be with him. So, no cooking. We ordered pizza, and I blotted off a few pounds of grease. The family reunion was fattening too. And it rained off and on, so everyone got bored, and grazed over the chicken wings and such. I've never seen so many different salads, macaroni, potatoe, sorry girls. I tried to restrain as much as I could. I'm hoping the exercise after the rain stopped will have stumped all the lard I put into me. I did get those 'wow, what's her deal? she was a fatty last year" kind of remarks, but I just chalked up their comments to being jealous. I get tired of haivng that 'how'd you do it' conversation. We all know the right way. Just be proud of me, and if you need it too, get up off your *** and exercise. That's what I wish I'd said. Well, I"ve gotta get to work, we're off to Ocean City this weekend for the week. I can't wait. I'll work myself hard this week, to get that 'ready to swim' hard body. Yeah right. Be back later girls! Christy -- hi to all!!! |
 I am back now. I am sick, but I am back. I think all of the eating and drinking brought down my immunity. I didn't even stay OP. I am not even going top lie.
OUr anniversary turned out to be us staying at the condo and eating with the family. We had a few drinks as soon as we got there and we didn't think it was a good idea to drive like that. It turned out great though. That night a couple got married on the beach and it was so great. I keep after Joe to go take pictures at thier spot but they picked up eveything to quick. One really great thing was not having to work and getting a great tan. I did take some pictures but I need to see if I can find a scanner to get them in for you guys to see. I didn't go back and read everything but I did see that Dips is over here now. hey girlie! |
Hi Kempy:D :D
Welcome Back!! So good to see you. I'm glad you had a good time and got the good tan going I can't wait to go on my own vacation. I need it in the worst way. Svelte- I know how tempting large gatherings of food can be (darn family reunions), but at least more people got a glance at the new you and that's always a plus+++ I'm feeling very lathargic right now but I know that playing hookie from the gym won't get me any closer to my goal so I'm on my way to the gym :barbell: I'll holla at you all when I get back |
Hello! I am back at work. I still don't have a computer at home. I want to finance one with DELL, but, am waiting until we see if we get approved for our new home.
I have exercised religiously, every day, for at least 45 minutes, but my desserts have been off since Sunday. My other food intake has been great, but, I had birthday cake on Sunday, and about 1/2 piece yesterday. I have been putting lite soy vanilla in my cereal in hopes that the protein will help me. I am having such a difficult time losing weight, but, I don't want to take diet pills! They are just too dangerous for me. I haven't stepped on the scale in a few days, because I started to get obsessed with the #'s. One day would be 151.5, the next 152 or 153, then back to 151.5, so, I have decided to weigh less frequently, once a week at most. My TOM is soon, so I think that's why my eating is off, but, not as bad as in the past. I bought a new workout tape, WATP 3 mile tape, and it kicked my butt!! Really, a great workout with weights and walking. Definately ALOT harder than the 2 mile walk tape. Holly :) |
Hello Everyone, sorry I was MIA for a tad bit I was going out a bit lately with the Girls trying to take advantage of my vacation days!
I did Karaoke! Do you Karaoke? Anyone? I am doing well on my diet despite the fact I have been dinning out lately! I had a steak and brused away the carbs, and just had a lovely salad (big one)! Noelle: How are you doing, did the Typhoon come your way? It was pretty strong here, and then boom a big earthquake! 6.8! I feel little one`s everyday, but the 6.8 is a shaker! Hello to everyone, YES Angie, I sure bet your hair looks lovely short, I can not wait to see the pictures! Gem, How are you doing on the SBD? It makes cooking creative, eh? : ) |
Hi!
Welcome back Kempy! I am glad you enjoyed vacation. Dips that picture is great motivation! You should absolutely get the belly pierced! :goodvibes: accessorize! CG I love SBD! It makes things creative in the kitchen but I love to cook. :chef: I lost 6 lbs the first week! I have not cheated at all. I feel very good and it is easy to remember. :T Svelte no worries about people at the shower and you are absolutely right - they know what to do there's no magic formula. I hope Ocean CIty is alot more fun for you! :) Summer keep your chin up. Stay out of the school for another week and enjoy that vacation! :sunny: After that shower you deserve a week off before heading back. Angie tomorrow is the day! YOu ready? I am so excited for you :hyper: Holly stay away from the scale. I hide mine until I have to weigh myself! You feel better the less you obsess. Hi Noelle and all others I missed! Quote of the Day: Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. - Albert Einstein Have a good one! :cb: GEM/Summer :cb: |
Hello all!
Svelte Chicky: What a triumphant family reunion. It sounds so much like a fantasy I have of when I get thin. Good for you! :dancer: Kempy: Welcome back!!! Glad your vacation was fun. Holly: The exercising you are doing is outstanding. :strong: Cosmo: I LOVE Karaoke! :cp: I'm a real ham. I was in every show in junior high and high school. GEM: Congrats on not cheating!:bravo: What a profound quote. Noelle, Angie, & Dips: Where are you? Miss you. :( Well, today's school bus inservice was a bust! That bus company doesn't know a thing about young children. Totally clueless. Rather than explaining to the children what would be happening, they had the parents just put our 5 year olds on the bus, and expected them to sit there alone with the bus driver, who is a complete stranger, and have a parent meeting elsewhere. Well, my girl was not having that. She flipped out, cried, and wouldn't let go of me. :stress: I couldn't blame her for getting upset. The bus driver was nice and tried to explain bus safety to a bus full of crying kids, and a few parents like me. She was sweet, but spoke way above their heads. The ones who were paying attention had very confused looks on their faces. :?: After a few minutes, we just got off the bus. They never actually took the kids for a ride. Hello!!! Since I missed the parent meeting, I asked some people what was said, and it was just common sense stuff. In the city where I teach, the kids have a full day of orientation. They meet their teacher, practice walking in line, go through a cafeteria line, go to the bathroom as a class, and learn about bus safety, including taking a ride on the bus around the block. They are given time to absorb it all. They have time with the parents before they are forced to break away. By the time they have to be alone, they have made a friend or two, and actually get excited about the bus ride. Maybe the difference is that teachers plan this rather than a manager of a bus company. Whatever! I've been such a complaining ***** lately!!! Can you tell I'm on the rag?! :o Sorry, that was rude! :s: I've been cheating. But my husband has to have some medical tests done and will be on a special diet. So, I'm taking this opportunity to get back on program. Summer :flow2: |
Hello everyone!!! I have been good on my diet so far. I made reservations for our campground. We are staying at the Hanna Park in Jacksonville. I am so excited. In a couple of weeks we are going to take my parents to New Hampshire for the night to see The Castle In The Clouds or maybe Clarks Trading Post.
Well, I contacted the Humane Society today to see if I could get Cappie adopted while he stayed with me. NO!!! The informed me that I signed a contract stating that he HAS to come back to them!!! I am so mad. They ***** about how overcrowded they are and then wont let me keep him until they find a suitable home. DUH!!!! So, We are going to have to take him back on Thursday!!! I feel so bad but I know it has to be and maybe he will find his forever home that is just perfect for him. I still feel like a total slug though. Jay is going to take him down because I cant do it. I have been right on the verge of tears all day today. He is a purebred dog so I think he should get adopted right off the bat. Plus he is a smaller dog than most. |
Summerlover: Ah, you love Karaoke, eh? Any tipsters on how to get the high notes? I know we should we our stomach mucles but when I lower my voice I sound like a crying cat!
Gem, I am on my 20 some day on the SBD, book as yet to arrive, in regards to phase two, do you know if grapes are ok, I would hate to toss the considering that were Oh, around 100 bucks, Noelle, I think you know what I am talking about here "Summer Gifts" hint, hint! Kempyd: Gesh, I hope you were not sick during your vacation! Glad to hear your doing better now! Ladies, any ideas on the best breast expercise, to perk up? Does putting your hands together, really work and push! LOL! |
Ciao Ladies,
Gem- What 'cha been up to, Chica?! Inquiring monds want to know where you are in your battle of the bulge :) Summer- You are a funny girl :D I know back to school can be annoying as **** but we gotta go through it. Hope everything else goes better than the whole bus thing. As far as cheating is concerned I gotta show some tough love so SHAME ON YOU!! Okay there. I did it ;) Now get back on track, Miss Thang! Angie- Good for you on maintaining you diet, unlike others {I'm so mean today aren't I:devil: } But seriously I know you'll make it to your goal and I'm right behind you so make sure you keep your lead. This whole thing with Cappie just won't get any easier, huh:( I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Just remember that you're not alone. We're all here for you. Cosmo Girl- So you want to boost the boobies huh :s: Well, there are a number of chest exercises out there but as a soldier I can tell you that nothing beats the good old fashioned push ups. About 40 to 60 a day should do the trick. Spread them out as necessary ofcourse Kempy- Where ya hidin' Missy? Are youstill sick? Fell better, Girl. To all I HAVE A NEW GOAL. I will be taking a trip with My Fiance to Disney world in mid October so the goal is to look good in a two piece. I will either pass or fail but I will post a picture of myself on October 7th to show my results either way so HERE I GO!!! |
WHERE IS EVERYBODY :(
Well I just got back from the gym, I'm exausted but happay that I incorporated fitness into yet another day. I'm on a roll!! Right now I'm gonna grab some dinner and get to bed. Godd night Ladies {wherever you are} |
Sorry, I am here. I have been working on payroll. Being out on Monday is throwing me for a loop. I am pretty behind plus I need to keep up with my normal stuff. That is ok though, I like to be busy. The only down fall is that I can't get on the site.
I am just trying to get my eating back into the normal swing of thins this week. I will get back to the workouts on Monday. With me being sick I don't think it is a good idea to do much. My boss was being a  today. He tried to get me to eat a burger with him. I told him no and then ran to subway. And I mean ran! His burger smelled great but I was not going to touch it. Now I need to figue out what to make for lunch. I left my new cookbook with my friend in FL and she is going to bring it back on the 22nd. So, I am stuck without any good ideas of my own. I guess it is back to chicken and salad for dinner. |
TADA!!!!!
Here is my new haircut. I like it alot. I think in a few weeks I will go back and have it cut a little bit shorter, once I get used to how to do it.
|
Angie: The length looks great on you!
I can see more of you, and by the way you look thinner, you sure look like your at your goal weight! Nice Do! I like the "Flip" going on to, great update! I sure bet you will feel cooler! Dips'n'twists: Ok, push ups! Eeek, I can try, but I am 30lbs overweight, and I was only able to do 10 then well, my face hit the floor! I guess I can do them in increments? You did mean the real push ups, right? Not the GIRLY ones! LOL! Thanks for the tipster, I will try 50 a day and see what type of lift I get in a month or so! Thanks! |
Cosmo: I took voice lessons in high school and college. I was told to sing from my diaphragm, and when I had trouble doing so, my voice teacher would have me lie flat on my back while singing. When you do that you sing correctly. If you do that enough, you will automatically use your diaphragm. You should also feel your voice vibrate on the roof of your mouth. Have fun with it!!! As far as exercises for the breast, I don't know of any. All I know is that mine hang down to my belly button!!! :o
Angie: My heart goes out to you. I wish it were easier for you. On a lighter note, you look so beautiful. I love your new haircut. It really shows off your pretty face. ;) Dips: Aye Aye, Captain! I'll get right back on track!!! Good luck with your new goal. My daughter and I were in the newspaper today. It is a really cute picture of my girl holding onto my arm for dear life as she boards the school bus. She has this look of panic on her face. Unfortunately, my wide hips got in the picture. Oh well. I cleaned a lot today, and got some stuff done that I've been putting off all summer. I will feel better about going back to school, if I have things at home under control. I ate better today, and by tomorrow, my period should be finished along with the cravings and mood swings. Take care all. Summer :flow2: |
Good Morning girls!!! I am in a good mood today because yesterday I got an email from the Humane Society telling me that they had discussed my situation and they are willing to let me keep Cappie and they will post his picture there and let people know about him. The adoption has to go through them which is what I wanted anyway so he gets a good home. Last night he was perfect. He is a weirdo...some days he is full of trouble and others he is a sweet lazy boy. I am going to miss him so much but at least I wont have to bury a cat in 6 months because he pushed his limits to actually biting one I guess.
My PMS hit last night. My nightime munchies included tuna on crackers(about 4) but then I got the bright idea for peanut butter on graham crackers. I had alot of them. I crave peanut butter so bad during my PMS. I wonder why. |
Woo Angie, BABY !!
You got it goin' on girl. You go on with your bad self ;). I definately dig the haircut, you wear it well. Summer- Hey girl, I'll be watching you!! Make me proud. Cosmo- Don't buy into the myth of the " Girly Push-up" Weather you do them on your knees or not, you're getting a workout. As a matter of fact, doing them on you knees (keeping the back straight) is better for developing your chest muscles. Doing regular push-ups works the chest, arms and abs, but for you it's all about the bust so do the "girly" ones, you'll be alright:) I have to take a nap before I go to the gym today I'll log on later after I work up a good sweat. |
Angie: CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm so happy that you can keep Cappie in comfortable, loving surroundings until he gets his new family. It must give you a lot of peace of mind. :cb:
There was a tragic incident in my state a day or two ago. A van of homeless dogs travelled from Kentucky to a Connecticut shelter for adoptions. The driver, totally clueless, stopped to visit a friend, leaving the animals in the van in the 90 degree weather. Neighbors called the police when they heard the dogs crying. Ten dogs died. This makes me so ill. I'm so glad that your dog is in your safe and capable hands, and will be until he has a new home. Also, I have to say, when you cheat, you do it with such healthy food. I mean, tuna, peanut butter? Very healthy. You could do without the crackers, but the toppings are great! Dips: When I woke up this morning and thought about what I was having for breakfast, I thought of you! I thought about what you would say if I ate a stack of pancakes slathered in butter and syrup. I knew that you would make me "drop and give you 50" so I thought better of it and had two scrambled eggs cooked in Pam instead! I've already planned tuna in water with velveeta lite melted on top for lunch. This afternoon should be easy for my eating. I'm going to an acquaintance's house for my daughter's play date. They have a pool, so I can swim and be active with my daughter. And, this woman eats like a bird. Last summer she had us over for lunch. She gave the kids hot dogs. But for us, she made a salad consisting of green leaf lettuce and tomatoes. No protein. That was it. That was supposed to be our lunch. I remember pigging out when I got home because I was absolutely ravenous! :ink: Even when you are on a strict diet, you eat more than that! It makes me wonder if she has an eating disorder. That is just not normal. When she invited me for today, she said to come at 1:30pm...which obviously means she doesn't want to serve us lunch. Then she said that she would have "healthy" snacks for us. OH GOODY!!! Maybe she'll have celery sticks for us! Woopie!!! I made fat-free brownies this morning to bring with us. I believe that you can stay on program without entirely denying yourself. If you do that, you will be more likely to cheat. I don't know how people like her deny themselves constantly. I couldn't live like that. I would end up gaining even more weight in the long run. At least with this play date beginning late in the day, it means that we will only be there for about two hours. It will be over before I know it. Hope everyone's day is a happy and on program one! Summer :flow2: |
Angie,
Your hair looks great! Also, good news on your pup. I also have HORRIBLE cravings for peanutbutter, and chocolate during PMS. Hmmm? Kempy, Sorry you are sick ((Kempy)). At least you avoided the hamburger! Good job. I am usually good with eating when I am sick because I can't taste anything anyway! I decided to step on the scale today. I will not weigh myself again until my TOM is over because I will only get discouraged. This morning the scale read 151.5. Maybe I can hit 150 by the end of August? That would meet my challenge! Does anyone have any ideas to fight the feeling of being hungry and wanting to chow down? I have been eating well, but, have omitted morning and afternoon snacks, hoping it will help me lose faster. Now I feel starved! I have started taking a daily vitamin supplement (not a diet pill) because I know I am not getting proper amounts of nutrients. I can't believe I did this, but 2 days ago I asked my husband to bring me home a bag of Reeses baking chips and a box of brownies, thinking I would bake em and eat em, lol. He brought them home, and the chips are in the fridge, and the box of brownies is in the cupboard. I decided I didn't really need them, and keep telling myself it is too hot to bake in the oven (even though we have a/c). I still have AWFUL cravings, but, so far, have been able to beat them. Hello to everyone....Where are you?? Holly |
Thank God for THurdsdays
:sunny: Morning Ladies!
I learned a lesson in common sense this morning.:^: I took my 9 month old puppy (65 pounder) for a walk but he likes to run and I do not! So I put on rollerbaldes - any body normal would see this as not a smart move  but off I went and we were doing fine until my dog saw another dog his size and wanted to meet him at full speed...:yikes: So before there were dog issues I decided to fall so he could not run anymore - on my bum...ouch...sitting a little awkwardly tday and laughing  at my self. Angie I love the hair cut! It compliments you so nicely!:queen: Dips I hope the european heat wave has an end in sight! how are you? You asked how I am with battle of the bulge and I am doing great - I am doing the SOuth Beach Diet - 7lbs gone! and from my belly area! I can start to see a waist! :mag: CG grapes are great in phase II of SBD. Eat them in afternoon or evening so they don't mess with the blood sugar in the morning. Kempy welcome back! I hope you are catching up and not being overwhelmed...:stars: Summer I am glad you are happier with eating and your house and going back to school. I gotta say God Bless You that is a job I could never do! hello to SVelte, Holly, Noelle and Tonya! Where are you at? Have a great God given day! :cb: GEM/Summer :cb: |
Angie your hair looks GREAT! I really like it and you do look thinner.
Holly the reason you are so hungry is b/c you aren't eating enough. You should be eating small meals 5-6 times a day. Trust me if you actually do a serving size of something it is small. Once you get used to eating like this your metabolism will kick in. What happens when you don't eat enough is that your body goes into a famine phase. It thinks that you aren't going to feed it enough so it will store whatever and I mean whatever you eat for later. It seems a little scary at first to eat the often but it really does work. GEM I was going to do the South Beach but I chose the Body Rx instead. Let me know how it goes anf if it is easy to stick with. Summer your friend could be a closet eater. She tries to look really healthy in front of you guys but when you aren't there, watch out! Now, I don't know her but I do know people like her. Heck, I have been that person. Dips maybe I need you to come be my drill instructor for food intake. Yell everytime a fatty food item heads for my mouth. Sandy, Noelle, Chris and anoyone I missed where are you guys? |
Hey Ladies,
What's poppin':D Angie- The old TOM is upon you once again, huh. Well, We'll be here to comfort you and help you avoid your cravings. Remeber, you're so close, Chica:nono: Summer- You CRACK ME UP!! I'm glad I was able to guide you in the right direction as far as breakfast is concerned. Rember I do it because I care:D. And I'm so proud of you for getting back on track. You'll get you results in no time:bravo: Chiki- Don't deny yourself snacks. It will only make you feel like eating bigger meals. You just have to find healthy snacks that are right for you, Snacks that you enjoy, who says you have to force down healthy crap that you don't like ?:snooty: Just cruise your supermarket and read labels and try new and exotic fruits and veggies. Let me know if you find something. Gem- Wow!! 7 pounds, now that's what I'm talkin' about! Glad to hear it! You're on a roll and you'll only get better. :cb: :cb: It makes me so happy to hear good progress. Luv the dog story:lol: OH and by the way the heat wave seems to be leaving us THANK GOODNESS:flame: :flame: :flame: I can't take it anymore. Hey Kempy- Hmm Drill instructor, huh :drill: Not a role that I pictured for myself even being in the military but I guess I can give it a shot  FAT IS THE ENEMY AND WE WILL DESTROY THE ENEMY!! How was that {I'm such a goofball:joker: } Well, I did weights at the gym and taebo aerobics I feel strong :strong: yet exhausted:yawn: So I'm going to enjoy my Lean Cuisine dinner and go to bed. You girls are awesome! Keep up the good work :drill: LIGHTS OUT!! -Dips- |
I'm back!!! I have been a busy girl today. Candi had to go to the vets for her rabies vaccination. She is on a different schedule from the other animals. We usually have the vet come to the house once a year and give everybody theior shots all at once but since we are taking my parents and the kids to Storyland next month we need her shots for the campground.
I emailed the pic of Cappie on the couch to the shelter to post of him. How could anyone say no to those big eyes? Plus my vet is trying to help us find a good home for him. Summer, That is so sad. Those poor dogs. Holly, Congratulations on resisting the brownies. There is no way I could do it. If it is in the house I obsess over it until I scarf the whole thing and then some down. GEM, Sorry to laugh but I have the vision of this dog dragging you around. I hope your bum feels better soon. Dips, Excellent advice. I must be good for atleast a week straight. I can do this. It is funny because I fall off right before my period and then it usually takes until PMS for me to get started OP again. Kempy, How have you been doing. I want to see pics of your vacation!!! Noelle, Where are you???? Tonya, Where are you???? |
I was going to scan them but the boss gave his old scanner away. I am going to try to get my mil to e-mail me the ones from her camera. Those are probably funnier anyway. We were using it the first night we had to many drinks. We had a good laugh the next day when we looked at them.

Did you hear that New York is in the middle of a balckout? They just showed the interstate full of people walking home. Canada and Detroit are having it too. It is a huge chunk of the North East that is having it.

No, I am just sitting in front of my puter surfing. Maybe I should go look at the news. Are they saying what is causing it?

Niagara Mohawk said it was a grid overload

Hey Ladies. I've been MIA here but slamming and jamming at work for the past few days. I've been lurking on the site but haven't really had time to post because I can get really long-winded :blah: ...but I miss you guys . The other day I was dropping my son off at school and when I got back to my car I had a fresh scrape and dent on my left rear bumper and fender well. The car next to me had fresh stripe of red paint on their right front bumper so it didn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what happened. Luckily the gal driving the car was still in the car. I was pissed and confronted her :rollpin: . SHe was an employee of the state office next door to the preschool and apparently a very bad driver/parker. We exchanged insurance info and I called the cops to make a report. Her insurance company said they will pay for my damages and a rental car while mine is in the shop. My insurance co. won't do anything unless hers flakes out or something. I have an appointment on Monday to take it for an estimate. Oh yeah, my hubby's motorcycle did come in last Friday so he's been tooling around with that here at the shop too. It's an awesome sight if you like chopper motorcycles. I'll see if I can take a picture of it and post it , I'm sure he'd be proud.
Ok, on to replies. Angie baby, the 'do looks great on you! I like the lighter blondy thang going on. I say this everytime I see a new picture of you--it's eerie how much you look like my friend Theresa from Baltimore, MD. I need to go dig up a picture of her and scan it so you can see. I heard about the blackouts, I hope it's nothing to do with them gosh dern terrorists! Kempy, glad you had a great vacation and sorry you got sick. Hope to see some pics soon. Dips even if you don't "feel" like a drill sergeant, you can pretend to be ours--something about a woman in uniform... Summer/GEM--congrats on those 7 lbs gone! :cp: WooHoo!!! Watch out for dog-powered roller blades, they can be murder on the bum :s: . Holly, go get that goal! Good job on staying away from temptation--good girl. Summer, you're doing fine and stop putting yourself down (i.e., comment about the wide hips, etc.) . We need to realize that we need to love ourselves NOW and not when we lose 10 lbs, or 20 lbs or even reach goal. We are beautiful women NOW and don't let anyone, especially yourself, tell you any different. (((hugs))) :D Did you clip out the newspaper pic of you and DD? That would be a good memento. Hey CG--let me know how your chest exercises work out. See as for me, I don't have much on top to "lift" so it can't even sag down--isn't that sad? I know you're on a low-carb WOE but I just had to mention that I tried this great new sushi combo called a "rainbow" roll. It has the california maki on the bottom (hold the mayo), with ajiwai type toppings on top--like a regular nigiri sushi, except for the plain rice, you get the cal-maki. I know it probably has a lot more cals than the plain nigiri but I just had to try it and that was my lunch... :T: Emily, Chris, Tonya and Sandy--hope you're all doing well today! I'll be off to Maui tomorrow morning so I may not pop in for a few days (tsk tsk it's getting to be a habit!) . Have a great weekend everyone if I don't get to say goodbye. Luv ya! |
What a night out!
Dips'n'twists::strong: I will do the girly push ups , thank you for clarifying that myth! I do not think I can hit the pavement yet! Thank you! I will start out with just a tad bit ( 100 reps) and hopefully I can see a difference in a month or so??? I though no other better way to get rid of stretch marks!
Summer: Oh, my gosh! Ok, I did not practice laying on my bed before Karaoke night last night, but my voice came in and out, and at times sounded like a mouse! :tied: I had not problems singing to "Tatu",:snooty: but for deepr voiced songs.......ha! Forget it! I really, really want to improve so I will lay on my bed, pop in some music and turn the volume like "way up" hoping the neighbors do not hear, :yikes:and practice using my diaphram(sp)? Is that right?:chin: Angie: Yes, you do look lovely and I am happy that you found a home for your "Crappie" :sunny: Although I am afraid my Shizu will not restrain himself! He growls at everything, and no one would take him, and he is my responsibility regardless of his temperment, so I went out and bought to elbow length pig skin gloves to handle him, but I am still with fear! Suggestions anyone! Thus this leaving to not being able to bath him, keep him tidy and having to pay huge salon fees! 43.00 a go!:headache: Noelle: Yum! That sounds just yummy! Yesterday I bought Ika, and cut it myself (it was already pre-cut of course) but I sliced it to serve as Sashimi! It was great! Do you like Okinomiyaki? or Tacoyaki? Gosh, I love when my fiancee makes Okinomiyaki homemade! Extra cabbage, extra Taco! But, I can not have the carbs,! The mayo to top it off with the sprinkle of green tea powder and fish flakes! :hun: Hello to eveyone that I missed! I hope you all are doing well! Oh, Gem: How is is going on the SBD? Oh, thank good ness that grapes are ok! They were like a 100 usd, Noelle jump in here, you know what I am talking about right! Those "Summer Gifts"! 100 dollar Cantalopes! |
