Good Morning Chickies!!
pts for yesterday: 2pts for program (good food day!!), 1pt for water, and 1 pt for exercise...feelin' :strong: I work at an Answering Service: one of the Dr's we answer for bakes us a sweet treat every week, (I dont indulge!!), but nice of him anyway!! yesterday he brought some type of oatmeal and nut cookie, I looked at them but that is all, just ate my yogurt and 6 animal crackers after my dinner meal, and later had a banana!! I was proud of myself, no cookies for this gal!!!:D feel so fantastic to me to be able to pass them up, I know I have to (at least right now) there will come a day when I feel like I can have one, but not in the forseeable future, by then I probably wont even be thinking about them, (I would rather use my calories for cheese and bread anyway!!);) Julie sounds like you are doing well, got to keep that big old ugly lizard at bay right???? take care :D Crazygrace: the 40's are fab! I am 43! I have a lot more perspective on things now, and that is why I know I will get this weight off now, I figure at least half my life is gone, so I want the other half to be as healthy as posssible, and all those stresses I had about being 30 and so career driven, dont have them anymore, things have settled into a really nice rhythm now!! cant explain it, just feel like life makes more sense now, not on that Quest to find myself, if you know what I mean, I feel like I have finally arrived!! hope some of that rambling made sense!!:?: well chickies, got a busy morning planned so better get to it, have to be at wrk by 2p, so gotta shake a leg!! have a great day all:wave: |
WI and Points!!!
I know this isn't WI day for everyone, but it is for me. I'm down 5lbs this week!!! I'm very relieved that my tough week turned out okay. So far this week I'm OP and feeling good.
I get all my points for yesterday. I stayed OP, I exercised, and I drank all my water. I had a dinner that was really yummy last night although hubby looked at me wierd. I made Jambalaya from a mix and used turkey smoked sausage, then I had it on a bed of lettuce with lite salsa ranch dressing. :T Sounds strange tasted yummy. Well, gotta run. Hope all of you have a great OP day! |
Amanda - yes that does sound wierd, I was with you until the ranch salsa dressing....what kind of turkey smoked sausage is it?I dont think that I have ever found that at my stores, and I love smoked sausage, how much fat are we talking about here? Per serving?
CONGRATS on your 5 pounds down, "weight" to go!!! ha! :o) |
OK I get 2 points for yesterday b/c some rogue M&Ms hopped into my mouth! What is up with that?
Really there is not much else to report. I am tired and a little bummed over losing out on that job and I'm just kinda feeling blah. Hope everyone is doing good! |
Satine-The sausage is 6g of fat for 2ozs. It's made by Butterball and I bought it at a Super WalMart. It was pretty inexpensive too. $2 for 14 oz. I believe. The Salsa Ranch helped complete the idea. It just needed some moisture. I'm planning on repeating the whole thing for lunch today.
